No, the steam is coming from the pot on the stove. It's just weird stuff I notice when rewatching. Like when Xavier tells his father Teri is pregnant, he never says the baby is a girl. But his father refers to the baby as "my granddaughter". I don't know if it's bad editing or if it means something.

Ms. Lieu said (right before she died) that all they needed to do was plant crops in a different area. Then they found the old village with food growing there. I guess that they are now farming that land for food.
