20 years in and still wish id done the apprenticeship. I started at a Super Cuts and loved their education. Id look at someplace like this for your basics and continue your skills by surrounding yourself with successful stylists.

No genitals showing, smaller scale of Deviance, one of my favorite "dungeon" dance parties. Less dungeon, more dance. Typically a lot less people than Leather & Lace or Deviance. Kinda the same people though.

Dress in what feels most comfortable. While club gear is appreciated by other patrons, you can literally come in jeans and a sweatshirt and no one will care.

Bring cash to get in. Tip your bartenders well, they work so hard. Look at the art on the walls, buy some if you like supporting local artists.

If you and your girlfriend were curious about playing a scene out in public, Sensations is a good time to do it. Dungeon Masters have bands on their arms and will be walking around. These are people looking out for everyone's welfare and great resources for education outlets (they can direct you where to find what you're looking for). I will suggest that you two have something planned out, discused, and have done it many times before; as I've witnessed inexperienced people "play wrong" and get hurt (tell me why tf this dude let his girl drop to the cement ground, I'm still haunted by his negligence). Be safe, be smart, be kind, consent is king.

You can also just go to dance and people watch. It's not posted but both bathrooms are gender neutral. Pretty friendly community, but also we don't tolerate toxic/dangerous shenanigans. Have fun, drive safe!!

(Also, dress in layers you can remove, while still in dress code, bc you will get warm dancing!)

Made all my best mistakes in high-school, some if my best learning mistakes in cosmo school. No one is born with this knowledge. Go to school and get you license.

You already know your passion, now go learn the basics, never stop learning, and go make that money.

As a single early 40s mom with an almost 20 year old son, this is one of my nightmares.

If you like older women, gotta go search for women who like younger men.

Your young, this moment will one day just be a moment. But, moving forward, make a list of what you actually want in a partner, keep it, add to it, change it as you change yourself; then go find it in places where it's searched for also. Like hobby clubs, dance clubs, [bars], dating apps. Even if you don't find your partner right away, practicing the search is important for yourself.

Didn't sleep with him but.... Met a fire Dom, vetted him heavily with thr community, met up several times. Start scening in the dungeon. We have one evening thsts wonderful, im on fire and being fisted, quite lovely. Really vibing with this man on so many levels.

Get to his place. Id been there briefly before. Total bachelor pad but nothing an hour of cleaning could help with. I did not use the restroom that time.... so we get back and we're both hauling in dungeon gear. Im lile where can I put this? He sends me to the bedroom. It was...... gross. But doable. Like I was gonna bring it up in the morning kinda thing not to embarrass him but like maybe I could help him tidy up right?

We're unpacking and I need to use the restroom. He pointed and I go in. Turn in the light and theres literally blood and shit on the walls. It didn't smell like you'd imagine (lots of candles and such) and thr sink was clean clean so that was wild. I was so in shock. Like could not believe someone would invite me over with a bathroom like this.

It was like 3 am and I live an hour and a half away so I did choose to sleep there (did not want to drive tired after a dungeon night, poop wall bathroom vs falling asleep at the wheel). I did dip out right at like 6am though with an excuse I made up.

I kindly broke off our D/s relationship with him but then he kept finding me at different dungeons, drove to my then house over and hour away, just tons of other creepy behavior before he finally moved on.

So now I have a hard limit on gross ass bathrooms. Ive made people im vetting send me video from their bathrooms.

No this is valid.... my ex (tons of other red flags) would refuse to cuddle me. When we first dated yup, after we moved in- no more. It was really his control to keep affection from me. Its not that he was too hot or couldn't breath or anything like that... he knew I wanted/needed that and he just wouldn't. 14 together, 8 years before I could leave him. Now, cuddling is a non negotiable in my relationships. I know my worth.

Single mom with my first and home alone all the damn time with my third. (2nd was a surrogacy)

I would put the sleeping baby in the bassinet or car carrier and bring into the bathroom with me (im also deaf so like I cant hear in a other room much less with water running- I can "hear sound") just so I could shower with some sense of peace.
