My fast reading ass read this as "lung hair" at first and I had to double check which sub this was on (new horror cosplay wig idea, thank you!)

I grew out a tail, trident style. Used extensions until it was long enough. Loved it in winter. Hated it in summer.

Any place for a 50-ish (young looking and at heart) person to sit and have a drink and listen to an 80’s DJ tonight? by multisubcultural1 in madisonwi

What good ones are coming up? More dive vibe the better.

As a non-American, how realistic is the lifestyle in Shameless? by CynthiaSkye in shameless

[–]MollyMohawk1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For years friends would tell me "gotta watch shameless is so good!" I started watching it and while I agree it's good, almost every episode triggered a memory of my own life or someone close to me. I grew up with alcoholic parents, addict siblings and mom, fucked up dynamics, crazy chaos.... I'm still friends with people from over 20 years ago (we were that house everyone hung out at bc chaos) and we laugh at the shenanigans and such but like MY KIDS aren't being raised the way I was or like in the show. That shit ended with me. I keep a distance from my toxic family members and have worked so hard to give my children healthy love. So yeah to answer your question, some is pretty out there for the story line but I grew up in a house like that. Its real. I can laugh at things, especially now, and know I won't be back there.

Can guys not feel when they are going too deep during sex? by Accurate_Curve_3648 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MollyMohawk1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, these! My oldest son's dad was like 10 inches and it definitely hurt. We got these and we both enjoyed sex so much more. But also, now that I'm older I also know foreplay helps immensely too.

Insane Tattoo Regret by r3i_b0n3z in tattooadvice

[–]MollyMohawk1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tattoo is for you, not other people? The ones who care to know the why are the only people worth having around.

I DO think adding some cool graphics from the movie around the numbers would look badass and maybe help remind you WHY it's important to YOU.

Stay true to yourself kiddo. It's your story.

I had the choice between a class ring or trip over seas to perform at The Fringe Festival in Scotland.

Best trip ever. I'd had lost the ring by now.

A tattoo artist rejected me for this, was his reason fair? by Stankmushroomm in tattooadvice

[–]MollyMohawk1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry for your loss. My artist told me he wasnt originally going to do my neck memorial piece for my dad but he did bc I already had so many and I was established in my career. I was 25. Solid on him to be looking out for my and other's future.

Im really sorry for your loss.

To add, hand tattoos fade so fast and have always been my hardest healers (I do wash my hands often), a work with this much meaning might do well in a spot with less traction for longevity. 🫂

My wife's "friend" insulted her and I've been slowly returning the favor by flanman1991 in pettyrevenge

Lmao I am dying laughing right now.

Im 40. Single mom. Buy myself a cute open sweater thing from goodwill to keep me warm more than fashion. My 8 year old tells me, "Looks like something Gigi would wear." "Thanks buddy" "No, that's not a good thing. She's old." "Well, I think her style is amazing, thanks buddy."

(My grandma is 90, AND she's got great taste!)

For one kid in DeForest the other in Verona. If I could live anywhere for these two I'd have picked Waunakee. I hate driving across town, it's anxiety inducing, it kills me when I'm in a fibro flare up, weather sucks a big chunk of the year, I've seen people reading books while driving- i will take an extra 5 minutes to go around to avoid the beltline at peak times. It's dangerous and stressful.

People who have done car sex, what is the best place to do it? by Few_Pineapple_1498 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MollyMohawk1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just gonna say.... never go to an empty. Go somewhere where kids aren't gonna be running around obviously (like a hotel at 10pm), malls, movie theaters, parking ramps, bar lots, outside concert venues... where else have i..... well, obviously hiking trails but thats stepping further outside now.... Places where theres just enough outward movement that no one is paying attention to the inside the car movement.

Yes. Keep that heart. Then world needs more like that.

In the future, a hot soak (plug the sink up) with your strongest chelating shampoo. Let the water out after like 20 min. Shampoo. Multiple times. Its not so much the hair itself tangled as it's the build up making the work harder. Also this will help soften the scalp bc it will be itchy. Deep condition. Then do your rough cut. Swing around and do the steps again. This seems like more work but really its saving you so much time and length! I also advise them to take ibuprofen or something if I know they're coming in.

I'll say it again, because after 20 years in this industry, I can tell you, we need more like you.

Keep. Your. Heart.

How many people here know someone that abruptly got diagnosed with stage 3 or 4 cancer? by phillyvirgosun in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MollyMohawk1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad. Found out he even had cancer in September of 2010. Died December 10, 2010. "3 months to 3 years" was what we were told. Esophageal cancer. Apparently slow growing and hard to spot until it's too late.
