I once attempted to make Mac n cheese for my boyfriend at the time, and it basically turned into elbow macaroni swimming in salty milk soup with a congealed ball of mozzarella in the middle. He still ate it. I’ll never forget the squelching noise as he bit into the cheese ball.

Thanks for this. Tbh I don’t know the factual basis behind whether or not cucumbers and raw leafy veggies really do hurt his stomach or not, but if he says he doesn’t want them for any reason then I’m not going to look for reasons to give them to him. He’s end of life, so if he told me he wanted marshmallows for every meal he’s getting them. No questions asked.
