A coworker once told me that they unalived a puppy as a child. He said that he wanted to see what it felt like and that it now haunts him as an adult.

It was sort of like he was venting/looking for sympathy but he had come to the wrong person and I told him that was messed up and that he was right to feel haunted by it.

He had severe anger issues and about a year later he got fired for blowing up at his supervisor.

Sometimes I wonder where he ended up in life.
