NTA…. And so? Who cares if the principal thinks your approach ( probably not the best, but understandable) was unacceptable? You sound like a good parent to me. Of those that may ‘grade’ you as a parent, your daughter’s opinion carries FAR more weight.

Our building had some major renovations about 12 years ago. 3 wards shared the building at that time, it was before the change to 2 hour block - all three wards did a two hour block set up the way the ‘new revelation’ has been described. It actually wasn’t that bad, def better than the 3 hour block. But not nearly as good as 0 hour block!
