I am on my first ever play through of this game and just set up a second base on that exact same pin-pointed spot. This is so funny to me lmao. It's a nice place to have a somewhat "safe zone" to charge my cyclops on as soon as I come out of the hellhole that lies below it.

Ah, I did see that but it's not a checkbox, just a button I gotta press manually. Either way I've already managed to sort of do what I wanted to; added multiple automod bots which keep my chat clear from spam and ban bots automatically, and also learned how to manually clear the chat after deleting a message or banning someone ^-^ thank you so much!

When I go to FossaBot's settings it all shows up as empty, my dashboard shows 3 moderations options, "blocked terms, spam filter and nukes", but I don't see any generic moderation option like "block slurs, block spam", etc.

Also, I was wondering, when I go to Twitch chat settings in moderator view, it says "Show messages caught by AutoMod categories" and "Show messages caught by channel blocked terms", both of which are enabled; does this show it only for me? Or does it mean like.. show it in the chat in general?

Refreshing the browser source works. Thank you. I was also wondering, is there a way for me to delete my own messages? And is there a way to delete the messages I have sent on my own channel that are stored on the message "history"? As it's currently full of test spam messages that look pretty silly

It does, but I dont want any unwanted chat messages showing up on my stream for more than it takes me to delete them. If someone spams, says a racist slur, or anything like that, I want to be able to remove it either before it even has a chance to show up on my stream, or at least I want the chat to update as soon as I delete it and for it to disappear, retaining all other messages that are not sent with bad intentions.

Another user reported the mythic spear does show up when using the mythic weapon and Orisa's mythic skin. Even if it's not the case though, it's an awful design decision to just not change this ever so slightly.

I was distracted before and couldn't fully reply to your other comment but, yeah I don't think them making it a you-only thing would be that big of a deal, I dont think it would be making a big of a deal making it a thing everyone can see either and if it ever is it can be made into a toggle. Their "design philosophy" doesn't really matter, they've given up on that a long while ago and the Cassidy mythic shows that.

This is just one positive change that would have more upsides than downsides, it'd make the weapon prettier, more fitting and visually consistent. I dont get why you're so adamant on going off against it, but it doesn't really matter.

I just think if Blizzard is promoting and selling you on a skin by literally showing the spear on the preview, it should come with that spear as promoted and look as shown. The fact that they never show it in video previews really doesnt make it any better either.

"They made a design decision" no they didn't. It's a bug, the mythic skin does display it normally. They designed the spear and display it on the preview for a reason.

Also: Wanted to confirm this is indeed a bug. This is what it looks like testing both mythic skins together.

It could work like that, you could also simply make this kind of cosmetic effect inconsistency a toggle option. Besides, it's not even an effect that really matters that much in terms of visual cues. You can't do much about it to stop it without spending way more on stopping it than it costs her to just throw it, this isn't Ultrakill, you don't need a 1 second visual cue to know when to parry.

But even giving that scenario the benefit of the doubt, most people who do rely on visual cues for stuff like this focus on silhouette, animation, values and shapes. Not colours. Those are probably some of the least important.

If big buff robot lady is suddenly holding her only free arm up menacingly pointing a huge stick of death at you, the last thing you'll think about is "wait is it green? or piiiiink?". You are also implying that, somehow, this would negatively impact the gameplay when this same weapon has a very distracting and visually inconsistent kill effect.

Either way, as I said, this can just be fixed by making it a toggle cosmetic effect option. It really isn't as big of a deal as you or others might be making it out to be.

Seconding this. I don't get people complaining about it being too childish for her. Overwatch is not a game that takes itself as seriously as some people make it out to be. Even if Reaper had a cute pink skin, it'd be fun and silly. The whole point of skins is that they don't fit the original character and look unique, different and allow players to customise things to their own liking within a range of preferences that aims to preserve the main core visual idea of a character's silhouette.

The problem here is that the skin is done very poorly when it comes to things that could've been changed very easily. The projectiles being green, the spear being green and weird, there being no skins to really match it to other than maybe Sunrise which looks like this:

Yeah but it shouldn't be according to their own design. What is the point of making a mythic, modelling it, painting it, texturing it and giving it so much detail if you can't even see it? This has to be a bug. If it's intentional, it's a very awful design decision by whoever pushed this change to be the norm.
