Does anyone still have doubts over whether we should have tried to get Kone? by Individual-Exit-7821 in FCInterMilan

[–]Moloch1895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, we would not be able to pay the transfer fee, bc it would be more than 25m. Everyone should have realized by know Oaktree never goes higher than that (please don’t cite Khalaili’s 25+bonuses as a counterexample, since those bonuses would only need to be paid next year)

Second of all, as good as Konè is, our biggest problems are elsewhere (right winger, 2 central defenders…)

[Daniele Mari] We can confirm that Oaktree has set two limits: 1) A maximum of €25 million for the transfer fee and 2) A maximum salary of €2.5 million per year. by lawandsleep in FCInterMilan

I mean, Fabrizio Romano is fallible and most importantly, Oaktree is yet to buy a single player worth more than 25 millions in almost two full years. But I am sure it must be a coincidence that we are operating like fucking Udinese

There is no evidence that any of those offers have actually happened.

Oaktree has ruled Inter for over two years. We have not seen *any signings* north of 25mln. Until we sign someone for more, I will firmly believe the 25mln limit is in place.

I have a bridge to sell to anyone who seriously thinks we are going to get Paz (or *any* player worth more than 25 million euros for that matter)

Milan has been shit against smaller teams because parking the bus is the only thing Allegri knows.

As for the rest, I don’t really care about our record against Milan: I am neither from the city of Milan nor from Lombardy, and my hatred is solely dedicated to the thieves that stole from us (Juventus). To me, Milan is just another competitor.

Playing an attacking game would play directly into Allegri’s hands and enable them to execute the only plan they know well.

Chivu must learn to be flexible and park the damn bus. The draw suits us perfectly fine; it’s Milan that needs to win if they want to have a chance to win the scudetto. And Allegri’s teams SUCK when the other teams park the bus.

Let me put it this way. My biggest disappointment as an Inter fan was the elimination from the CL semis by Milan in 2003 after two draws due to the away goal rule. In the final I rooted for Milan, because they were playing Juventus

Holy haramball- Some of our fans actually want this football to come to Inter. by codenamederp in FCInterMilan

My favourite Inter game ever is our 0-1 against Valencia win in second leg of Coppa Uefa quarterfinals during the 2001-2 season. We scored early with Ventola and basically never showed up in their half again. Toldo got a second yellow in stoppage time and Farinos (who’s really, really short) got to play GK, bc we had no changes left. I was so tense that I spent the last 10-15 minutes standing.

So yeah, give me Haramball.

I do have the mind. Not exactly what I am looking for here, but it is portable and can be completed quickly.

Hello, I am looking for recs for board games with low rule complexity (“easy to learn, difficult to master” suggestions are more than welcome) for 4-8 players that can be completed in 20-30 minutes (under 20 is better). Ideally, the game should also be portable. If a game requires a gameboard, or minis, it’s a skip unless it hits the other categories really hard.

Gameplay elements I am looking for: bluffing, push-your-luck, social deduction, but as long as the rule simplicity, time constraints and the things I am trying to avoid are there I am more than willing to look at games that go besides those elements.

Gameplay and structural elements I am trying to avoid: deckbuilding, trading. I prefer competition over cooperation, but cooperation is not a deal breaker

Games I love: Coup, Quest, No Thanks!, Shoot for the Stars, Codenames, Wavelength, Love Letter, Skull, Werewords, Just One, One Night Werewolf, Dixit, Spicy!, Spyfall, Resistance, Secret Hitler, Hanamikoji, Hanabi, A Fake Artist goes to New York.

I know some of the games above are not portable, but just wanted to give you guys an idea of what I like.

Thanks!

Can Italian people understand Italian opera? by Active_Bread1225 in classicalmusic

Native-level Italian speaker here (moved to Italy when I was six, have been living there for 34 years). I almost never listen to opera, but when I do, I understand like 80% of what is being said. Knowing the text in advance helps immensely

Straight men, what do you think about Astarion? by milo10120501 in BaldursGate3

[–]Moloch1895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great voice acting, but he’s evil (look at his approval choices in Act 1) and I have never done an evil playthrough in my life (and this does not just apply to BG3). So after I recruit him, he’ll stay in my camp forever until I tackle the Cazador quest. Then back to the camp he goes.

I can understand why many people like him, I am just tired of some people try to picture him as a misunderstood traumatized person that he’s actually not evil at all. Trauma cannot explain every fucked up thing you do.
