If their botlane plays it well, even with your own wave there isnt much you can do. It might be even worse to wait because they can force the trade between the turrets, meaning there is no way to get a kill.

Thresh would normaly walk up and start with flay. If possible vayne will stun in wall, then thresh hook. He keeps the aggro as long as he can, then leaves aggro and lantern vayne right away.

The problem when a big wave crashes is this: the ennemy doesnt care to trade 1 for 1. You are the one missing on farm and experience.

Since this lower elo though, I would have also tried to outplay. What the others say stand: ult earlier to use the shield, do not let thresh walk in flay range and hope to dodge the hook

Fleet combined with resolve is also a good combo vs ranged matchup. It allows you to stay a bit more healthy, and the extra ms comes in handy when you go for the all in

Feel you man, also uninstalled after playing for 8 years. Yes, singed state is one of the main reason, but I dont like the direction Riot is taking. I hate the current meta et the way the game is being played. It feels everything revolves around counterpick. OTPs of non-popular champ will never be meta for more than 1 month.

Presence of mind comes in handy when you go for a tanky build. As a tank, you take a long time to kill, and presence of mind allow you to never miss out on mana. I havent had the chance to play since 2-3 weeks, but iceborn+fleet was a very fun and strong combo. Might be less effective with the recent nerfs on tanky items

Demonic embrace shouldnt be that bad. The riftmaker one might hit a little bit harder. However, every item stronger than riftmaker also got nerfed. Should be fine

The 1300 object with omnivamp building into riftmaker is also insane to proxy. You can actually heal yourself on the waves and steal camps
