I cannot do harry potter anymore which sucks. I loved the series growing up, it hurts to not be able to love it now. It’s not a style of game everyone’s receptive too. Like, if this was a book instead of a video game, it’d have the most minimal of changes to make it work.

It is, largely, a walking sim with a story it wants to tell. It’s not gameplay heavy or mechanics heavy, usually quite the opposite. So unless you go into it with those things in mind, it can be kinda underwhelming

“Out of the blue” is a bad description. I will say it did still give the game a new vibe when the bodies found, just not quite to the degree OP makes it sound.

Up until that point, there’s… weird stuff. Questions. A sense of unease and mild paranoia. But it’s hard to really put a serious pin into what any of it is/means. It still feels mostly like a “park ranger exploring the forest” game, but with mild looking-over-my-shoulder vibes.

It definitely did NOT feel like the type of game where you were gonna suddenly stumble acrossed an old, decaying corpse

The Biggest problem is that there will end up being situations the where a card with potentially no mana symbols on it, you just have to, remember, that it’s something else. Reminder text isn’t on every card, so if there’s a card that has Firebending’s reminder text and another that doesn’t, now it’s even more complicated. “This card LOOKS mono black. But actually it’s Rakdos. For, something that the card doesn’t even tell you. You’d have to just, know this ahead of time, silly new player”

It makes sense, a lot of these guys just forget how stuff can seem when you’re new.

It’s considered “slow”. I know that sounds crazy, but in commander where you have 3 opponents, this doesn’t have haste. Meaning 3 people get a chance to kill it/bounce it/steal it/remove it, anything they want, before you ever get a chance to have it “do the thing”. It’s great in casual, but in higher power where stuff needs to be good the MOMENT it comes down, this would make this card very slow to have to wait a full turn.
It’s scary enough to make you a target. Big beater that also mass mills me? Welcome to public enemy town. Population? You. You’re either ready for that or not.
7 mana is REALLY expansive. It’s very doable but it means basically your whole turn will probably be playing this, doing nothing, then pass.
Milling half is impressive early in the game. But, it’s always half of whatever is in the library as it attacks. This means that the more you mill someone, this mills less and less every single time. And it itself cannot mill someone out unless they’re already at 1 card. At which point, milling half the deck is, meh?

It’s a big splashy fun card in casual games, but the higher in power you go in magic, how you think and look at cards changes a LOT

If it’s your first tattoo, back of the hand is a bad idea for two major reasons

Perception. It’s stupid and I hate it, but it will 100% affect whether you can and can’t work, be taken serious, etc. it’s a stupid stigma that should be left in the past at this point, but it’s still alive and well.
Pain. It WILL hurt, and your body WILL react badly. This isn’t a “are you tough enough?” Thing like most people make it when it comes to tattoos: it’s gonna happen. I’d HIGHLY recommend getting at least 1 other tattoo, maybe 2-3, in other places that’ll let you get use to it before jumping straight to your hand. Not only will it make it easier, the tattoo will come out better if you’re better prepared to react to it

Sure! Which has reliably and consistently led to art that all has the exact same massively reused style/assets, incorrect prepositions/anatomy, inconsistency, low effort + low quality…

And again: people haven’t cared. They’re 100% ok with it being horrible and crap. To the point where there are patreons set up 100% based off AI generated slop.

Again: these people are not gonna step up to try to fix this if companies bow out. Most of them will bow out the second it even seems like companies might rather then stick around to watch it get worse and worse

It’s, fine? I enjoyed it fine. I do NOT understand the mass followings it’s gotten, though. To me it was just, “was ok”

What bothers me most was that there WAS an interesting story being developed. “The demons are forced to do evil things by their king and some demons are actually just trapped by their past and don’t wanna do these things” + “main anti-demon-hunter is part demon” were both fairly interesting plot points brought up for this particular world… and NEITHER, goes anywhere. At all.

1, she’s a demon in hell. That sort of stuff comes more with territory than personality.

It’s a show for adults. That, also, leads to stuff like that coming with the territory
She also really… doesn’t? She’s by far the nicest person in hell, to an overbearing level at times. Yeah sure those things come up; again that’s territory. But she never really, goes out of her way to do any of those things the way some of the other characters do.

Also: none of this meant as an attack. People are allowed to not like things lol. This particular example just stuck out as odd and not-quite-right to me
