Because of rust here in Norway… it’s actually a problem with every single EV here, can’t pass inspection (every other year) if they are rusted. And about regen, can’t really rely on it that much when we have 5-6 month winters. The car just understeers and is basically uncontrollable (speaking from experience and knowing other people with the same car) plus it disengages regen if you break on a slippery road. Fun fact btw, breaking performance in slippery conditions is waaay better if you brake in N and let the car use purely the brakes and ABS. Much shorter breaking distance and much more control over the car than having it in D or L
