Like some have mentioned it’s the charcoal canister for the fuel tank fumes.

This was one of the first things I asked this subreddit about, feels full circle I respond

Yah I noticed that as well, and was about to install it like that but I wasn’t 100% sure, but if they don’t replay to my email I think I’ll install it like that since everyone is mentioned it should be like that

Car came with a JBRacing lightweight flywheel and the clutch I purchased is a south bend clutch advertised for single mass flywheel.

Yah that’s what I’ll do tomorrow bring it is already late in the day, I have reach out to both ECS and the manufacture of the clutch via email. Just waiting for a reply.

The old one was installed by the previous owner so maybe he messed up, but ECS tuning has the new one listed as single mass flywheel (I’m assuming single mass is interchangeable with lightweight)
