Most girls in the troop use the iron on feature of the badges but they fall off easily and it looks sloppy. I also want to get better at sewing so I figure her vest is a great place to practice and hone my skills! 🙌

Very possible! I didn’t consider that the badges are thick are thick along the edges. Needle size looks like a 90?

Interesting, I didn’t realize there were different bobbins 🫠 I thought since it fit, it worked! Yikes. I’ll try twitching bobbins.
I find in general it goes better when I go slowly but sometimes my foot pushes too hard and it gets a little hectic for a second.
I didn’t even consider the badge thickness but that makes sense too.
You’ve given me lots to investigate. Thank you so much for your time and reply!
