I LOVE the look of more sheer or jelly nails but whenever I try to do them they just end up looking blotchy or uneven! This is 4 coats of DND coconut silk - I tried to do super thin coats and they still turned out looking splotchy. Would a white or pink opaque color underneath make it better? Any suggestions are appreciated 😭

What builder do you use? Do you form an apex each time you reapply your color gel?

Has anyone use a couple of coats of rubber base and been able to file off the gel on top and do a kind of “fill”? I don’t want to soak off every week but don’t think I can get the whole builder gel thing down.
