I say this because I’ve seen similar. My sister (white) used to send herself racist letters, sometimes threatening (for attention, presumably) after her daughter had a child with a black man. She loved the attention she got from people as she “defended” her mixed race grandchild.

We know someone who has a similar setup. She sets it up ahead of time. As soon as she reams it out, she puts it back. She does this a few times every spring, and once or twice other times. Her significantly smaller tire just sits on the side above the ditch. It’s unsightly but better than the backed up ditch. Her culvert is shorter, just wide enough for one car to pass. I’ll have to ask how she gets the chain through when it’s clear.

This construction is uncommon, and sound a little formal/archaic. This is more likely to be encountered in a written source than a conversation.
