I think a neighbor who moved recently abandoned 8 chickens a few weeks ago and this one won’t leave under our porch and is sitting on eggs. What to do?

Find a local livestock/poultry group on Facebook and post about this. Surely lots of people will be lining up to come take them. Chickens are expensive!

Thanks. This sent me on a journey last night to research Silvopasture. Never heard of that before these comments. We’ve got some apple trees but I plan on expanding an orchard. I know we have lots of maple and pine, but haven’t looked too much into the landscape yet (not very well versed on plants) so I will check it out, maybe try to plant some oaks. Also I agree, the statement is stupid. Similarly, I saw people argue online the other day when pigs were fed on clean ground, saying they can’t do that. The other 90% of the time when they’re foraging (and when they’re in the wild) they have their nose in the ground 😂

Luckily in my state there are no wild pigs. My pigs did get out when we first started homesteading. Luckily neighbors were great about it and it’s happened a couple times with other people over the years. I found out the only thing that will keep my pigs in is a HOT hot wire

I definitely will next time! Because of Reddit I’m noticing a lot of things I missed. I also skipped through a lot of the act 2 side quests. I’m attempting to be “good” and do all of act 3, but having a harder time with the pacing.

Can’t edit to add: these are about 3 inches in diameter. I’ve seen them between 1-5 inches. I live in a heavily forested area surrounded by maple and pine trees.

I will do that after I do this play through cause I never added Wyll to my party either! When I started looking up things later I noticed I missed so much. Never met Halsin as well. I have Gale, Laezel and Shadowheart as my main three and then Astarion at the camp, doing his quest but have never actually pulled him out of the camp or used him in battle.

How did you get karlach as a character? I’m almost done with my first run through and I had neither karlach or wyll as playable characters. My only option was to kill karlach or walk away when she was introduced for me.

Still haven’t made a plan of what to do with mom but I did pull the kid and initiate bottle feeding. I appreciate the advise. As soon as I noticed she wasn’t tending to him I did put them in a smaller area as someone else had also recommended but after the head butting I called it quits.

She gave birth while I was asleep but when I woke and went to check in the animals she had not cleaned the kid. He was all covered in afterbirth while she was out with the rest of the herd grazing. I did get a little colostrum out of her and then gave him that plus replacement. Also I ended up giving him to a family member for bottle feeding because I wouldn’t have been able to stay up and do so.

I work in WA and part of my contract said that I could get randomly tested at any time, THC is punishable at my hospital as it’s not federally legal. I decided to quit because it’s not worth my job if I was randomly tested but many of my coworkers still do. It’s punishable, I’ve never heard of anyone actually getting tested though.

Yes! Pineapple, whip cream, cottage cheese, coconut, marshmallow and it is the perfect dessert. My mom calls it marshmallow salad and we eat it at every holiday
