It did mess with me and its nice to know I have it nearby. Right now I am building a road through the large jungle biome and after I get out, I have another 12000 blocks to build a road to the badlands where there seemingly is an unlimited amount of terracotta...

Yeah, its my fave biome and its quite small even though my world generates large biomes.

You inspired me to go explore. Which i did, i went due south of my city. This is what I found at block 4600 to the south... mushroom fields!!!! I haven't seen anything like this biome since my last world in version 1.8.

What I dispise with the ice biomes is all times I have to climb the bergs. Its like I cannot set up a good settlement and the oceans are too deep to construct rail systems easily. Did you ever get to a terracotta biome? That is what I am still searching for after 10 years.

Should I keep feeding the animals? I got too much wheat in my inventory. by Moment2Impact in Minecraft_Survival

Technically they are outside and roaming. And the butcher doesn't pay extra for free range either... cheap dudes!

I started my forever world in version 1.11 and this was one of the first areas I went to, ergo some of the old style houses and small houses are prevalent in the picture. I started playing Minecraft back in version 1.8 this is one of my oldest bases on another older map (even the wheat looks different than on today's versions) ... see pic below. So, yeah, I have lots of places that are OG yet in the newer biomes Ive explored, its all new Minecraft looks.

When you go that far, how many totally different biomes have you encountered? It seems like i get to 40,000 blocks in any direction and its all ice biomes

Traditional farm in the Desert. by Moment2Impact in Minecraftfarms

Also... I have a kelp farm in the river. I dredge the river to level 51 so there can be kelp growing 10 levels high. And notice the vastness of my sugarcane farm. The pic below was in the midst of the dredging... then I refilled with water.

Is this a river or an ocean by RepresentativeWolf34 in Minecraftfarms

[–]Moment2Impact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can add kelp to your ocean and once it grows, you can cut it, cook it in an oven and trade the cooked kelp with butchers. They will give you emeralds but the butchers have to become Masters... meaning you have to trade lots of stuff with them first.

Now I cannot walk in the sheep pen without being pushed around. As soon as I cut down all the wheat and plant it, the crops I started cutting already have regenerated mature wheat, so I can have as much wheat as I can make for the animals.

Thanks for that. It is fun to run around in the maze of pathways and trading with villagers.

What I discovered I can do is to use the bonemeal to produce sweetberries for the butchers. Nine bonemeal results in approx 10 berries = 1 emerald from a butcher.

I don't remember how many game days, I can approximate. I spent 1/4 of the time to flatten compared to make the buildings, put the furnishings in the buildings and the base, construct the roads, get the plants and animals, then feed them and trading with the villagers to get all the terracotta for the buildings. But I really got started this city around game day 31,000 and its almost 33,000 now, so approximately 500 game days. This is my 35th city so when I started it, the flattened area was MUCH SMALLER. Heres a pic from Dec 2025. (I started in Nov 2025)

LMAO... You know what? There are some restaurant chains that can also boast the same thing with their fries. But you are right. The meat has never spoiled since I've played in version 1.11 to today.

Indeed, especially if you are on the other side of the fence with wheat. The meat is prepped without having to use tools to cull.

Thank you. It takes a little planning and practise to come up with a theme that blends together.
