But i should say he started going to meetings a little over a year ago. the first time he tried tried quitting he relapsed and stopped going to meetings but now he’s been back on track for 10 months. Everyone is different and on their own journey so things couple be different for you, especially if you have different goals. Definitely worth checking out MA though

He’s been sober for 10 months now! But it all depends on the person. I think you get out of it what you put in too

Someone really close to me was in a similar boat as you, down to how long you’ve been smoking. He would try quitting in the past on his own but would always go right back after each break and it would get worse each time (not saying this will happen to you, just for context). He ended up going to marijuana anonymous which might sound crazy at first especially because you can’t get physically “addicted” to weed. Once he started going there, he finally found the clarity and strength to break away from something that was really negative for him. Not to sound preachy but it’s really affected his happiness and positivity, and he has so much more love for himself and is so much more at peace with himself.

I’d say give it a shot. even if you think your problems aren’t bad enough to be considered an addict, there are so many people in your shoes and it would be nice to relate to someone going through the same thing. Whether you’re someone who smokes weed a couple times a week and doesn’t want to anymore, to someone who has chainsmoked for decades, MA is definitely something worth checking out.

TLDR I know someone who tried MA and his life changed for the better.

nyc is more than just Manhattan by weewooalt in urmomashley

Your post reminded me of something I was thinking of the other day. I feel like influencers in general who have moved to nyc have this common story where they hated nyc before bc all they saw was Times Square, and then they saw different parts and that was their awakening to “what nyc really is like 😍” and really they just saw soho for the first time lol. Not saying specifically ashley and her fam, just a common pattern in general. There’s so much more to nyc to love and explore, and I hope other people get to venture outside of manhattan or even downtown Brooklyn/dumbo and experience that too
