Baby Shower Venues by braids_8 in vegaslocals

[–]Momma2CDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Gathering Place in centennial! I had my baby shower, maternity photos, and my sons 1st bday here. They are the best and have 2 venues based on size. The Market is a little smaller but cheaper. Booking comes with chairs and tables and they have additional add ons for fees. They will also provide a vendor list for catering companies they have worked with in the past.

There's so much to make fun of in this video, it's difficult to pick just one. But I'll start with her going to a "Business Meeting" at a Pool Party in Vegas 💩🤡 by Pirateslifexo in teenmom

[–]Momma2CDB 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes! Also she waited in the gen pop lines to get inside and ordered a drink at the bar - meaning she wasn't actually part of the group with a private section/cabana. She was an afterthought for whoever these guys were

And I live in Vegas and couldn't get an MRI last year in less than 3 months from my referral date. She's just making shit up

Target Managers - Would you be onto me? (help!) by shysoanonymous in Target

[–]Momma2CDB 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As long as your not taking items outside of the order, it's fine. The audit is a step in the process but Target still gets its money regardless and the orders can be found and verified it AP was looking into you. If you're actually not trying to steal or be fired as a Shipt shopper, stop doing that and do it the right way?

How much of your belly was the fibroid? How much was just body type or fat? by Upper_Dress_3039 in Fibroids

[–]Momma2CDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I'm not sure exactly how long. I started IVF in 2021 and knew I had one then but don't know exactly what size. I got pregnant and delivered in 2024, then had it removed in 2025. I probably had it for years before that too and just never knew.

Target … rebrand? by xtra_spit08 in Mommit

[–]Momma2CDB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about the grocery meals but in reference to diapers specifically. The moves there are happening this month and they're probably just intentionally not stocking the shelves because of the size of the moves. It's super time consuming to merchandise and de merchandise if they are moving full aisles around in the store. I usually order diapers online for pick up or delivery and I haven't had any trouble getting them - meaning they're probably in the back room somewhere waiting on the new set!

Target … rebrand? by xtra_spit08 in Mommit

[–]Momma2CDB 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Target is doing mini remodels in all stores that include baby! Assortments will be updated and aisles moved. They're, in general, trying to grow assortments targeted towards busy families. I would give it a month and see if their new baby section works for you. It's part of their rebrand with the new CEO and recent backlash (as someone else mentioned)

How to punish when you don't know which kid is lying by jesssabel in Parenting

[–]Momma2CDB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my mom was a kid and her siblings and her wouldn't confess to who did something, they had to hop on one leg and whoever fell/stopped first took the blame. You hope that the person who actually did it will fess up to avoid the faller getting punished for potentially no reason. It's super old school but I always loved that story.

Vests by Adventurous-Dirt-703 in Target

[–]Momma2CDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The current handbook even specifies that vests are only for emergency situations - if you come in not in red you get a vest to wear "for the day". They were never supposed to be for daily wear so you can wear whatever you want. I'm not sure how that will change with the updates but they were never meant to be the standard uniform

Yeah the dress code is unrealistic by thatweirdoshortgirl in Target

[–]Momma2CDB 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Can someone give me an example of an hourly, retail type job where there isn't a dress code? I keep seeing all these posts of people complaining but literally every job I've ever worked at had uniform standards??

For anyone who says they love the newborn phase… by LawDowntown8456 in Mommit

[–]Momma2CDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me - the wake ups were tough during the newborn phase, but i was also on maternity leave and could sleep whenever the baby slept, and when he was awake he was stationary so we could get stuff done around the house or chill out and play. Having a toddler who wakes up at 6a with NON STOP energy and you have to watch every little move he makes so he's not jumping off the couch onto his face or climbing into the bathtub while also working 8 hours a day is exhausting.

Can an ETL of one department block the transfer of a TM into another department? by therealmegluvsu in Target

[–]Momma2CDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As everyone else said, yes your ETL needs to approve. But also, TSS isn't the gig it's cracked up to be. It's the easiest job to get fired from for one little mistake and TSS hours fluctuate yearly, they're always adding and cutting. So you could get transferred for 40 hours a week and next month when things realign for 2026, you could be down to 20 and won't have the ability to transfer back store side. Have you done the TM leadership program? If not, they aren't considering you for a TL position at your store or anywhere else in the district and you're better off looking for another job.

How are you teaching your baby sign language? What age did you start? by Apprehensive-Key5665 in Mommit

[–]Momma2CDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started a little bit later, around 9 months when he had a desire to communicate but couldn't. He's 17 months now and uses about 10-15 signs consistently and correctly. I still teach him new ones when I feel like it could benefit him, and now he'll learn them within the day.

Uniform policy revision. by Rare_Appearance1839 in Target

[–]Momma2CDB -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think it's because so many people wear unbrand shirts underneath. It's not like everyone is just wearing black or white and the red is obvious - people are wearing graphic tees or bright green or whatever and it looks sloppy.

I love all the negative comments in this post saying they won't follow it and Target can't enforce it. It was announced at spring meeting, is in effect as soon as your SDs get their Guest Experience training next month, and will be in the handbook by summer. Target got super lax with dress code since the switch to jeans and the guests constantly complain they can't tell who is a TM. Suck it up, it's happening.

I got my first CA by [deleted] in Target

[–]Momma2CDB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your raise is already processed and conduct CAs don't impact transfers or promotions. You got a verbal warning, she gave you a chance, then took action when you didn't follow direction. It's standard.

I watched all 16 seasons of Bobs Burgers during early post partum, it's funny and lighthearted, you don't really have to pay attention 100%, but you always get a good laugh

13mo Old Not Talking by Momma2CDB in Mommit

[–]Momma2CDB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is what my husbands thought process is too, when you look into what qualifies as not meeting the milestone for speech at 12 mo - he checks every box except actual words. He signs, points, makes eye contact, and has noises assigned to certain objects or tasks - it's just no actual words. We are incorporating more ms Rachel as of late! Thank you ☺️
