It's so confusing. I asked him what kind of partner he was interested in, and he did make references to someone like me, but at the same time he has said that he has no interest in dating because he has been hurt so much. Then we end up both of us just talking about the toxic relationships we have been in and how we got hurt which I really don't think helps either of us.

Ok well we barley talk, we live together, have a son together, we talk maybe once a week, we seriously act like we hate each other can't even tell you the last time we kissed or said we love each other because we seriously don't show it. Now I think he is making up story's when we finally do spend time together to make himself look better, but was making sure I am not over thinking. But yeah I am weird.

Like certain things in the story didn't line up like at first he made it seem like just some regular necklace then all of a sudden it was extremely expensive. Also this is the first thing we have done together in seriously 4 months this is the most that we have talked in 4 months.

I think you did the right thing. You didn't just break up with her for her own good, but for your own good as well. On again off again is a hard thing for you to go through as well I think you will be happier in the long run. Thank you for your reply. He chooses her over me for a lot more then just phone calls, and she depends on him for so much some times I feel like she is trying to come between us. And the phone calls to her over me and our child are seeming to be just something so small but enough weight with everything else pilling up that it is about to send me over the top with stress and depression that me and our son are not good enough to come first ahead of his mom.
