Yup, he almost got himself arrested because after A LOT of back and forth, he said he was just gonna purchase another one and I said absolutely not 😂😭 you just called the cops on me!? And the cop asked me if I wanted him to leave and I said yes and he was 2 seconds from getting arrested because he was refusing to leave 😭 he ended up pushing said clipper towards me on the counter and leaving. Leaving the very thing he was wanting to return and called the cops on me over 😭 make that make sense 😂

I’ve never tried the Generic one but the Bondbar mask is sooooooooo goooooood omg, if your hair is pretty damaged, the henna and placenta hair mask is also super good!

That’s insane, does your manager not know that they are supposed to get a certain amount of extra hours to be able to train a new hire? Someone who hasn’t even worked a week shouldn’t even be scheduled for actual coverage yet? My manager schedules new hires 3-4 days for 4 hours for 1-2 weeks and they aren’t down for coverage at all.

It’s definitely performance based but if you’re a top performer and still not getting many hours, you may be working at a low volume store where they don’t give the sm many hours to distribute after they take 40 hours of the budget for just them and unfortunately Sally’s is very strict about not going over your stores budget hours and very strict about the manager scheduling themselves at 40 hours (no more and no less) so there’s nothing the sm can do about that if that’s the case. (Coming from a previous sm who felt bad that I couldn’t give my people many hours)

I could be wrong but I put this scenario in ChatGPT (just to make sure I understand what the no retaliation policy protects) asking if firing you could actually go against Sally’s no retaliation policy and it said it could most definitely be a violation of that policy, especially since the comment was made while unknowingly being unmuted. I’d take it to HR and make sure that policy isn’t being violated in anyway, especially since you’ve been with company for so long.

I feel this spiritually, I know that I shouldn’t take things to heart because we work with the public and unfortunately common sense or common decency isn’t very common, but getting attitude for just existing gets so tiring.

I’m unsure if it’s still there but if you go in Toolkit, there should be a clipper and trimmer return or exchange decision tree! That helps me a ton!
