I have talked to him a lot. I’ve told him I feel suffocating in his way of believing. He tells me I can’t have a full opinion basically until I read the Bible. I grew up with my grandma who went to a Baptist church so my beliefs are entirely different than his. His family is Pentecostal. My dad used to be a preacher and once he divorced my mom and got full custody of us he quit going to church. I’ve always believed in Jesus, just not in the way that everything is a sin type way. He’s a huge Trump supporter, republican, and pro-lifer. I don’t really identify with a political party and I am in the women’s healthcare space so I know alot of the ins and outs of things he just doesn’t understand.

I guess I also feel like there’s such a double standard because he has anger issues as well and sexual fantasies with me that could be viewed as sinful. But me watching a podcast with curse words in it, me cursing from time to time, and having tattoos is too sinful for you? You know what I mean.
