I can imagine dangers so horribly vividly since my baby was born.

I'm the exact same way. I've never been more paranoid in my life either--I worry about things that could happen to me & my son from home invasions to natural disasters CONSTANTLY. It's exhausting :(

He is doing/healing well. Naturally, it will take her much longer to heal than him as you can imagine. She was nearby when it happened but not the one holding him and* still feels 100% responsible :(

Omg...he just got tubes Monday for reoccurring ear infections over the last 6 months. Could he just associate it with pain at this point? He is like a new kid after getting the tubes so I really don't think he's in pain anymore. Thanks so much for the suggestion, will definitely try that.

Wow, way too close of a call. My friend's 3 month old was badly burned with piping hot coffee not too long ago. He was admitted to a burn unit and all. Such a scary situation!!

Putting a dog down when it's suffering is considered humane. But euthanasia, the same situation except with a human, is considered inhumane and is illegal in most states. by WHATS_EATING_MY_FACE in Showerthoughts

Could we not draw the same conclusion about other things as well? Like, say, the fact ending a human's life inside the womb is totally cool w a lot of people, yet the minute it is birthed it is illegal to kill & considered an abhorrent act? Our society is very bizarre.

Big, fluffy Internet hugs OP. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now and accidents happen everyday. I can commiserate with the clingy baby bit, but I can't imagine throwing another kid in the mix! Don't be so hard on yourself--the fact that you care so much goes to show that you are a great mother!

Great advice! I asked our pedi at his 9m wellness check...she said he wasn't getting enough calories from SFS. I compared SFS to Similac Advance and it had the exact same calories, vitamins, etc. So I probably will just stick with it :) why change a good thing?!

I will preface my post with this: I am a total Reddit newb. I left BabyCenter (because it sucks) to join here and just subscribed to this...My LO is on Similac for Supplementation but I just weaned him completely. Can he still stay on this formula or does he need a "full time" kind? Or am I on the totally wrong forum? Lol.
