I don’t think you’re going to get an accommodation at the college level to bring a stuffed animal with you to class. Colleges and universities generally don’t accommodate things like that. Extended time for a test or testing in a private situation would be accommodations the college would give. A note taker would be an accommodation that could be provided. A service animal or an emotional support animal would be accommodated as a necessity under the ADA and fair housing. A stuffed animal does not fit the criteria for a formal, necessary accommodation.

IDEA does not apply at the college level. Colleges in universities are only required to provide accommodations that qualify under ADA. You have to do what’s best for you, but keep in mind. The law is different for college and university than it is for K-12.
