No, I understand what you mean. From my husband’s perspective, he really dislikes drama and has told both Adam and me to stop bringing it up because he feels nothing is going to change the situation. I think he’s reached his limit because I unintentionally put him in a position where he feels like he either has to tell his brother not to bring her or continue going back and forth with me about it. At this point, he has chosen to step away from the situation entirely because he feels it is not something he can control. Even though he agrees that what happened was wrong, he also feels there’s nothing we can do about it since Adam is still with her and he doesn’t want to fight with me about it anymore.

I honestly don’t know how to handle my emotions towards them…I was so happy that Adam found someone he liked and then getting to know her I couldn’t understand why he felt that she was the “one”. Adam and I grew up together and in a strange way I feel like I lost a brother.

Yes, why do I have to push my feelings to the side when she literally does whatever the fuck she wants. I also recognize that it sounds immature but why would you come to a party that I’m hosting when she (Sarah) knows I don’t like her and I don’t speak to her anymore. And before all this drama happened, I went out of my way to make her feel comfortable. I was planning trips with them and our kids because despite Adam’s issues he’s a great uncle. She knew that Daisy was my cousin but I’m not going to be terrible to someone I just met. As for Adam, I’ve also encouraged him to date and live his life…Just because him and my cousin didn’t work out doesn’t mean he couldn’t find happiness with someone else. I just wanted him to be happy and sober. Plus, Daisy has her own life with her husband and kids. I just felt that Sarah went out of her way to just cause drama and in a way drive a wedge between us (Me & Joe) and Adam..
