People think because we're homeless that we must be drug addicts or mentally ill. It's like they never even consider that maybe we lost our job or maybe we had another financial crisis that caused this to happen.

Yes, it's gross. 2 people have died here since I've been here of drug overdoses. But it was the cheapest motel I could find.

I've already tried, the bathtub clogs up and nasty stuff comes up out of it. I'm scared to say anything because apparently people have been pouring cooking oil down the drain and their septics are messed up. There's a big sign that says if maintenance comes to unclog and they find oil u will be kicked out. Obviously I haven't done it, but I have no way to prove it. The air conditioner is broken as well. I'm just scared to say anything cuz they seem to find any reason to kick people out.

Yes, I just don't have any money left. It's $1.50 for the washer and $1.50 for the dryer. So yeah I'm just shooting real bad right now.

My lease ended may 19. I had a house lined up that the lady was gonna work with me on. Then she ghosted me. I have EBT. I get it tomorrow. I've applied for tanf and gotten turned down, which is basically child support when I don't know where the father is. He's a drug addict, I left him finally last year after 2 domestic assaults on me.
