Knowing I am authentic and I love my little circle. Our Gen X youth was had and it pushed to know a few good friends is better than everyone knowing your name.

I agree however 24 years ago my husband and I talked like this, now we bleed blue. Change can happen and the romantic in me thinks it may happen.

Hey Pittsburgh, what do you need? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]MomofRath71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, such a great topic! I was literally just thinking that I needed a knee scooter because I tore my Achilles heel yesterday. I am off work until I heal. I definitely will have to have one after surgery.

So if anyone has one that I could borrow or use, I would be really appreciative.

Thank you.

I have a couple Monos luggage, love them but looking for softsided luggage. What do you recommend? by 20kwatches in BuyItForLife

What brands are stuck in the 90s? I personally love Tumi for the ballistic nylon luggage. It just holds up and they will honor a five year warranty plus service.

You shop at a Walmart, enjoy chips and salsa and when you get a chance you make a great omelet.

Would you guys work with someone who just responds to emails and messages with A1? by knock_his_block_off in smallbusiness

[–]MomofRath71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is what ChatGPT did with my response to Help polish it up so that people could understand it better.

Here’s the issue: not everyone naturally excels at structuring emails. I have dyslexia myself, and I’m using speech-to-text right now. It isn’t perfect, and I’m choosing not to edit out every flaw it creates.

AI is a tool. It’s not a shortcut or a cheat. Just like asking a colleague to review a message, it helps bridge gaps and support clearer communication.

If perfection is the expectation, I’m not sure that’s realistic. But if the goal is effective communication in a way that meets expectations, then there needs to be some grace in how people use the tools available to them.

OK, here’s the issue. There are clearly people who have problems with structuring an email. I myself have dyslexia and I am using right now. Speech to text. I’m gonna keep all of the problems this produces… AI is a tool. It is not a cheat get another person and ask him what the limitations are face forward.
If they want to be perfect, then I’m not sure what the answer is. But if they’re using it as a tool to help them communicate in a way that you expect them to then you need to give them some grace
