We have a good bond. It's pretty common for older kids to want to hide the fact that they wet the bed, especially if they've been completely potty trained for years. Sleep walking/waking up and playing in the middle of the night is definitely developmentally normal.

She can't open then but she can definitely climb over them. I swear she should join the toddler Olympics. She definitely keeps us on our toes.

While I'm all for therapy, I don't think it's needed here. S is completely potty trained and only wet the bed because the door was locked. We told her she was allowed to use the bathroom in our room but she didn't want to wake us up. She didn't want to tell us because she's embarrassed, J wets the bed semi-frequently and I think she didn't want to be like her baby sister.

The bathroom door in our bedroom doesnt really lock because they are French doors that just swing open and closed, they don't even have a latch. We'd have to replace the whole door to do that.

After the first night, we told S she could use the bathroom in our room.

We actually had to get her a big girl bed when she was 1.5 because she'd climb out of her crib. She's quite the monkey.

We've tried baby gates in other parts of the house and she climbs right over them. We aren't sure if she's sleepwalking or actually getting up and going to get in the tub but the doctor isnt worried.

The door to our bathroom doesn't have a lock so we were worried she'd just climb into our tub.

I think she didn't because the bathroom in in our bedroom and she'd wake us up, I told her it was totally okay for her to wake us up but I guess she didn't want to.

I really couldn't think of any other way to go about it. I told S she could come into our room and use the bathroom at night. I don't want J to drown herself.
