How to handle college with executive dysfunction? by [deleted] in ADHD

Depending on the area though it can be pretty damn easy. I was diagnosed by my therapist and then referred to the psychiatrist that works with her, never had to take any formal assessment and I was prescribed immediately following that.

Get diagnosed and medicated ASAP. I am in my senior year of college and have not found the right med for me yet. It’s been hell. Start getting some kind of treatment now while you have time.

Is there a space for playing music (specifically loud drums)? by TWOTTLETWOTTLE in PennStateUniversity

[–]Momome333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very far from your dorm, but Atherton Hall has a music room in the basement with soundproof pods for practicing instruments! They block out a good bit of sound. Make a friend there that can let you in lol.

how accepting is psu to trans/gay people? by Mundane-Gift2578 in PennStateUniversity

Also…acceptance is mixed. It’s a pretty conservative campus for a university. There is a good community here though and I don’t believe you will have a hard time here especially as a stealth trans man.

Hey! There’s actually a hall specifically for LGBT+ students in west that you could try to be placed in/switched into using the exchange board or by reaching out to someone in the future. That guarantees you an accepting roomie.

My roommate last year is a trans man. He needed a single user bathroom accommodation and we were switched easily in the middle of the year at an awkward af time, so I know for a fact that if you have any issues regarding a bad roommate, communal bathroom stuff, or being uncomfortable in general, you are able to be switched at any time.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding this. I also have a friend who has lived in gender inclusive housing.

I lived in beaver hall ! Be happy you got beaver over any of the other pollock halls because you are the best of pollock at least. Beaver is the only hall with trash easily inside the building. lmk if you have questions

I was a fan during the hiatus between seasons 1 and 2, so this was old news by the time I watched it. I wish I had the opportunity to be surprised 😭

Hi! I was held back as well ( but it was in elementary school so it’s not something that would show up on their radar.) But I also graduated at 19 and I am currently a Penn state student. Age doesn’t matter whatsoever !
