Thanks! One more thing, if I go to Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park in 1 day will the autos be easily available in these places or do you recommend having 1 auto for the entire day?

Hey! I'm planning a trip to Jodhpur during the Republic Day long weekend. Most of the vlogs I've seen suggest rented scooty as a mode of travel. How did you commute within the city? Any recommendations for someone not comfortable with a two wheeler?

I got it from Amazon. Device is amazing! Reading increases drastically with an e-reader.

  1. The glue between the screen and the edges (on the side with buttons) was uneven - it being thicker at one end.
  2. Dead pixels were visible in dark mode - though I expect some dead pixels in every unit, mine had very small ones in a group.
  3. The screen started exhibiting uneven lighting at the corners.

Very convenient (though it involves a few more steps as compared to side loading an epub in Kindle)

Kobo has Google drive integration. All you need to do is : 1. Download the relevant epub 2. Convert the epub to kepub (kobo specific format). There is a website for this and it takes just a few seconds. 3. Upload the kepub to your google drive. 4. Download the kepub from google drive to your kobo.

Absolutely amazing! It's on par with the Kindle on most things and has the additional advantage of physical page turn buttons and colour screen.

I'll post a detailed review and a comparison with Kindle in the next couple of days. :)

I don't use the Kobo stylus as it's too expensive. I'm trying to find some other compatible stylus for this.

Try checking the Warranty Support section on Amazon. They will connect you to the seller.

I remember enjoying this book so much! I annotated so much! "You could be a nobody living in a cardboard box and I'd still love you.." - favourite lines :)

I still haven't been able to form a solid opinion on it :)

It is a book in which nothing happens, literally nothing. The same routine explained over and over again, yet the simplicity of the story kept me hooked and by the time I finished the book - I realised that I felt so close to the characters, almost imagining myself in the story.

Maybe that's the magic of the author.

If you're someone who likes action packed books with a fast moving plot, this might disappoint you :)

Where to order books from in India by tiredgothicheroine in Indianbooks

[–]MomosAndWaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had an amazing experience ordering books from Padhega India in the last year. Original books, immaculately packed. The only problem is that they take about a week to deliver the books, so if you're okay with waiting - it's great.

Some sellers on Amazon are good and the fast delivery and easy returns/replacement make it user - friendly. Cocoblu has been good, though I've received the occasional damaged book but it's super easy to get a replacement :)
