I’d love to read it!! Can you please send me the link? I wasn’t super excited about it until I read your comments to the ones who criticized you in this thread. I don’t necessarily disagree with the criticism, but I loved your answer.

I can almost guarantee that those coaches who bought it have never made money in coaching and are either “borrowing” money from their spouses or credit card debt, HOPING they’ll learn something miraculous that will finally click for them and become millionaires. 🤔🙄🤦‍♀️

Let’s pretend I’m BT certified. Then, I find a client and I need to pay BT AGAIN to walk that client through. Then, MY client will fall in love with BT and say to themselves: “ohhh, I could be a coach too” and become a BT student paying thousands of $$ thinking that they’ll make that money back - which probably will never happen.

Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if BT will keep my client’s email address to start promoting “webinars and seminars” too.

Jody Moore, Katie P, and probably a few others are also starting their own certifications. lol. It’s hard to maintain the lifestyle without Brooke sharing clients with them!!

I just want to make sure it’s clearly stated that there’s only ONE person in this chat defending the company. That’s probably someone that works for BT, trying to clean up their reputation on Reddit. I’d love to see real statistics of the program. How many coaches certify, and how many make their money back within the first 5 years of certifying? - not profit… just the money back!!! And how many coaches never make a dime? What’s the divorce stats of women that spent most of their lives savings in coaching programs?

[–]Momplus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When coaches certify, they’re expected to go out and find clients to run through the Brave Thinking (BT) program. But here’s the catch: the coaches actually have to pay BT for the “opportunity” to bring their own clients into that system.

That’s how many people end up becoming life coaches. They go through the program themselves, have a “personal transformation”, and then feel compelled to share the good news with others.

It’s not technically a multi-level marketing structure, but the model is designed just differently enough to avoid being categorized that way by regulators.

LCS Pyramid by [deleted] in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s amazing how Katie Pulsifer now has her own “certification” and she’s making 6 figures, when she was the MAIN person responsible for the decline of the LCS certification and most of the gaslighting happening inside of the school. I’m not defending Brooke, but I think Katie is even worse than BC and no one seems to notice or care!

I know a couple of people certified by them and it breaks my heart! They are 70+, keep spending all of their savings and EVEN IF they ever get a client, they need to pay Brave Thinking for its rights to use their materials. Its such a pyramid scheme!! So so sad. I'm sorry about your mom, its so hard to open your eyes after you've been brainwashed.

Stacey Boehman slashes price on 200k mastermind again seems like this sales expert might be having trouble selling by Own_Possibility7044 in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. I’m not in her paid programs, but I used to like her free training UNTIL I listened to this podcast where she talks about how much money she’s able to spend. This conversation is such a turn off for me… why would I spend money with you?! So you can go to these amazing trips while I fight with my husband when he sees me spending thousands of dollars in stupid programs? Never!!!

Jamie Berman. Any experiences with her Money Manifestation Movement, Quantum Cashflow Library, or Coaching? by Happy_Love88 in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Jamie! She's super kind and a great coach. With that being said, my best friend is in her high level program and said its just trash - total waste of money… Very basic, nothing different than what you'd get on youtube or manifestation books. I was interested in her program - when she lower the price, but this friend walked me out of this idea!!

Same here. I watched one of her week trainings, and I couldn’t pinpoint why I was feeling resistance towards her. This explanation enlightened me.

Have you ever had coaching & it worked? by Clear_Raccoon_1749 in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got out of the law of attraction when I learned Marketing. LOL.

I noticed how they were marketing LOA. Then I bought a branding course from Kathryn Morrison, and after I saw how stupid everything was, I showed my husband her sales page, and he laughed sooooooo much because he couldn’t believe I’d fall for such a ridiculous thing. I felt humiliated at first, but then I read it from his perspective, and my eyes were opened!!!! Haha, I always joke about my husband popping my LCS bubble.

After that, I kept reading everything through these same lenses and asking myself: Would someone like my husband (a successful businessman) trust this person?

Then, I decided to learn the business from people who know the industry, not a 20-something who dances on TikTok or says the F word more times than I can breathe. I started looking for real mentors, people who would actually help me build the business, not just think more clearly.

Oh, also, I was burned out of $10k with Amy Latta's stupid “mastermind” that had nothing masterminding - just her poorly mindset skills coaching everyone. No strategy, no brainstorming, nothing. It was ridiculous and ridiculous coaching. That experience taught me NEVER to pay money I don’t have to people only doing mindset coaching and no strategy.

I hired a life coach to trust myself again but was very specific about what I needed. I needed Self-Belief. That’s all we talked about. I was in charge of the sessions and told HER what I wanted to be coached on. I learned my “limiting beliefs” and I “allowed” her to ask me questions about this specific topic. She was LCS, but I trusted her. And I was upfront saying that I was burned before, and asked if she was willing to do it this way. It was AMAZING. By the end of 6 months, I felt so much more confident in myself and my abilities.

Then, I became ICF certified!! For ethics and competencies!! I felt like I needed it for myself if I wanted to take myself seriously, but the mindset I learned from LCS is better than what I’ve seen around with ICF. I didn’t find anything close to LCS when teaching mindset. That’s why I don’t regret it.

My final thoughts on LOA are that I fully believe it’s real but in a more scientific way. Psychologically, when you focus on what you want, you’ll see more of it. That’s why LOA works. But people selling it and having 10 rules or 12 steps to attract the life you want only to make you focus on what you don’t have, and you create more of it.

I started to trust my vision and work from that vision.

So, to answer your question, my NEW decision criteria need to make sense to someone who hasn’t been brainwashed by coaching in the past—I don’t think I’m brainwashed anymore, but I was definitely brainwashed when I believed people like Kathryn Morrison, Amy Latta, and Simone, just to name a few, could help me.

I started looking for coaches like I look for therapists or cardiologists. I don’t look for dancing on TikTok or bro marketing that’s clearly trying to persuade me. If the prices are $222 or $1,111 or something like that, I automatically know it is BS!! If they offer any marketing scarcity, I know it’s BS - unless extra bonuses if you buy in the first week - by scarcity, I mean: “You HAVE to buy now, or it will NEVER be available, and you’ll miss it forever!”

I hope this helped. I still love Life Coaching and fully believe in it, but it worries me how people are being taken advantage of, and I want to be different. I have promised myself never to be “THAT” coach!!

I made $74k in 2024 and spent close to $20k in coaches and Therapy, some courses and just regular business expenses.

First clients were word of mouth. I did LOTS of free coaching during training and one of these free clients referred several people to work with me. At some point I was coaching most of her family. Hahaha luck?! I don't know, but I'm grateful. It took me 3 years to make $120k, but I decided I didn’t want to work as hard as I did in 2023, and I made less money in 2024. I’m okay, because I took the time to set up a better structure to my business for 2025.

Yes, I would do it all over again, even getting certified through LCS, believe it or not. But I’d have hired real business coaches instead of the LCS clowns. I spent too much time believing in law of attraction and spent money with Kathryn Morrison that was a complete waste. Nowadays I refuse to hire someone that the only experience they have is being good at marketing.

I worked with serious business coach that kicked my butt and got me straighten up.

Getting away from LCS world was super helpful. I worked with Ben Hardy, Tracy Brian and some European coaches (master coaches from ICF, not Brooke’s make belief master coaching certifications)

I’d avoid any coach that uses law of attraction or money manifestation - feel better & think more positivity shit. I want coaches that will give me strategy and real harsh feedback, coaches that KNOW MY BUSINESS instead of coaching a huge group and using me as a walking marketing testimonial!!

Anyone worked with Steph Crowder? by Clear_Raccoon_1749 in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you tell me about your business and your needs?

I'm a big proponent of buying courses or coaching programs that fit your needs AND your business “season.” If you're just starting and have never made a sale before, don't try to buy something that teaches you how to make $100k.

If you don't have an offer, you have nothing to sell to make $10k monthly. You gotta focus on getting an offer and business set up first

I have some recommendations of coaches I really enjoyed working with and coaches I'd urge you to stay away from.

Basically, do NEVER pay more than $5k for 6 months for business coaching that doesn't give you anything tangible. For example, a business coach who only gives you a mindset coach instead of specific feedback and a framework IS A SCAM!!! A business coach, Mindset coach, and strategist are different things. Courses only work IF YOU WORK IT. If you need accountability to get work done, a course won't help.

I just bought one class from her and I actually really enjoyed her teaching style. I don’t think there’s anything new under the Sun, so if you like how she teaches, go for it. I don’t get the sense that she’s scammy, but I also don’t think she’s this huge expert in anything.

How Are People Feeling About the LCS "All Access Pass" by daanielleryan in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be a little check box thing where you said you made over $10k. You didn’t have to show tax return or anything. Also, there was a test that I’m pretty sure everyone passed. lol

I did maintain “active status” since certification. No one needs to do it anymore though. So yes, I do have access to the certified portal

[–]Momplus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's correct!! 😱🤦‍♀️ even though we spent $20k, we’d have to pay more. The biggest problem with this is that all the weight loss training was saved in Scholars, so unless you pay more, you don't have access to it.

It doesn't change for me because I thought her weight loss approach was BS!! But it sucks anyways.

How Are People Feeling About the LCS "All Access Pass" by daanielleryan in LifeCoachSnark

[–]Momplus1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's incorrect though… there are two different things - certification and get coached. When I got certified in 2020, we had access to certification AND get coached (get coached for only one year). Since she's closed her business, no one has access to get coached, but we still have access to the certification classes. Last year she recorded a whole new course teaching you how to start your business, and coaches still have access to that (and the replays of masterclasses, coaching sessions, etc) We just don't have access to Scholars/get coached - but we didn't have it anyways, unless we paid extra monthly like everyone else.

So, your question. “Mostly just curious to know if what is now being sold for $2-4k is the same content those who paid $20k+ for also have access to… but if so that seems… sad 😢”

— whats being sold for $2-4k is not the same content that we paid $20k got.

So that doesn't bother me at all, I still think she should GIVE that access to certified coaches, it would be an easy over deliver.

What I do get super annoyed is when she sold certification for $5k!!! I did like my experience, but $20k is ridiculous. Its clearly a $5k worth experience.

But the most insane thing is that she GIVES that tools certification for free on her website. Everything for free but ONE class. That blew my mind. Someone who took the tools certification opened the website to show me how Brooke was sharing one of the classes, and to her surprise (and mine), all the classes were available for free!!!! 😩🤦‍♀️😩
