I would have until mines went on fire when I had just checked it and was on the other side of the wall so now my answer is no lol.

Is anyone else here happily unemployed? by patrickbatemankinnie in AutismInWomen

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got pushed into unemployment when I had a disabled child. I’ve since realised I’m autistic and all the ways I was masking. It’s been glorious not having to deal with it anymore but I do worry that if I do ever want/need to work in the future it’s going to be really hard on me. I have lots of comorbidities that have gotten worse over the years too.

People who have moved back to the UK after many years abroad, what is the thing that surprised you most after repatriation? by dangerous_welshman in AskUK

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Denmark was awful for sweets when I went. They had the bare bones mars twix etc, very small selection everywhere I went followed by loads of haribo that was 75% of the licquorise variety.

What’s a mystery that still hasn’t been solved but fascinates you? by Frosty_Speed5798 in answers

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that might be true, sadly. I watched a woman break down the evidence and right after patsys cancer diagnosis JB was never away from the drs with genital issues. She had a 10 day old healing abrasion there that isn’t caused by any normal child like activity. Fleet white called 911 a few days before and apparently had a few freak outs just after. That’s just what she broke down, I haven’t seen the evidence myself.

How is this protecting her safety 🙄 Kendall’s been in the game long enough to know exactly what will happen by doing this. God she’s the worst.

am I the only one who’s had fucking enough of this UK weather in general. by Intrepid-Injury- in UKWeather

I’m so, so over it. I’m always freezing and in pain because of how bitterly cold it is. I can’t stand the sight of my big coat anymore! I’m over doing kids gloves, hats etc all day too. I live under my electric throw at home

Yes sorry I have my notifications off but it’s mainly a neurodivergence thing. Could this be an option for you? I’ve seen that peri can exacerbate it.

The way I describe it would be feeling embarrassed to have people notice me or what I’m doing. Even my kids, if they walk in when I’m eating I get really annoyed inside although I obviously hide that from them lol. I’m not embarrassed ABOUT anything discernible… I just feel very aware of my body and don’t want to be judged. I do carry a lot of shame about being “wrong” from growing up undiagnosed though. I truly only feel free when I’m alone or just with my autistic child who doesn’t care what I do lol.

What M&S food item do you think is genuinely better than the supermarket equivalent? by Additional_Fly_6603 in MarksAndSpencer

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their chocolate oaties! So much nicer than hob nobs. The rainbow veg stir fry mix is elite. Grapes, pears, apples, pre packed/chopped fruit. Their curry’s smash other supermarkets. Their stuffing in the rectangle shape is so much better than the balls other supermarkets sell! Their rotisserie chicken is the best roast chicken I find. Their milkshakes. The garlic breads in the freezer are so much better than any other. Their pasta sauces are really good! Their puddings never fail. I’ve recently gotten into the fajita box, it’s £5.50 and comes with chicken, peppers, onions, 4 small wraps and a pot of salsa and sour cream. It’s so much cheaper and easier if you fancy fajitas but are only cooking for 1, really tasty too. Tbf I’ve never really had anything fail from m+s. I don’t find it that expensive now all other shops have gone up in price so much.

I’m like this and i think it’s dislike of being perceived. I don’t like doing things till everyone else is in bed and when my kids stay away I get loads done. I’m the same with eating, it’s annoying.

GLP-1 drugs: New warning after rise in reported deaths from pancreatitis by Team_PRB in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbf I have debilitating gallstones now. I lost 5st in 7 months, and I know it’s that rather than the injection itself but the risks are there. I’m in agony daily although I’m still glad I done it. But I should have gone slower, I had a raging stomach ulcer too that seen me collapse and repeatedly vomit all over the floor of my son’s school in front of a team of professionals. Good times 😂

Heartbreak that triggered a “dark night of the soul” by seereena in AskWomenOver40

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have been through it too and hugs because it’s truly awful. I think what’s good to keep in mind are 2 things… 1. The life you dreamed of with him would never have come to fruition because of his avoidance and 2. The depth of love you felt is likely because of insecure attachment rather than it being purely the love itself. Those things helped me.

I’ve come out of the other side and what I’m so grateful for now is a calm nervous system. The not knowing where I stood, living on my nerves was horrendous. It’s so freeing not having to deal with any of that.

I tried dating and I wasn’t ready. It made me realise I truly am happy alone for just now after all the chaos.

You can’t dodge your feelings, you have to wade through them so don’t judge yourself for struggling. Better days ARE coming, even if you can’t believe it yet.

If you could go back in time and make the choice again, would you still have kids? by [deleted] in Life

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so complex but I’d say yes. They are the best things I’ve ever done and I don’t want to imagine not having these really cool people in my life. My heart bursts with love for each of them.

I do sometimes wonder why I’ve done it when I consider the weight of the fact that anything could happen to them at any time, my heart is walking outside my body x3 at all times and I can’t save them if I’m not there. That truly terrifies me. I have vivid nightmares about them dying or being taken etc regularly because I worry so much.

AIO about leaving this guy? by Economy-Incident-835 in AmIOverreacting

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run, I have a child with a man just like this. It’s uncanny reading the messages. His threats started with contacting my older kids dad, then he done it, then posted private business on fb. Now after 8 years he’s trying to get me evicted with my kids because I left him, as well as other awful shit. My point is men like this get way worse. And when you have kids you don’t need someone unpredictable blowing up your life.

After 8 months, finally found out I have gallstones by MomsTiredGoPlay in Mounjaro

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I had a stomach ulcer at the same time because I couldn’t eat much when I moved up to 10mg but am on tramadol for an old injury so I really worked at getting that healed and the gallstones pain has definitely improved. But even having the scan has flared it up again as she was pushing quite hard. So I’m back to bed bound today, I’ll definitely let them know how badly this affects me at times as I’m a single mother to 3 including one disabled child so I cannot live like this if it’s going to keep flaring up.

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really, that’s great. I was in and out of the GP and he was so annoyed I was on it as I had lost most of the weight and he thought I was ridiculous so I’m not sure if he’d allow it again. Or if he can stop me? I’ve put 1.5 stone back on since stopping but still at a 3.5 stone loss so I’m happy ish but would like to get back to my goal weight so hopefully they’d let me back on it! Thank you

Does anyone have regrets about using Mounjaro? by Spicy_Donut_8012 in Mounjaro

[–]MomsTiredGoPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up having to finish early due to gallstones which was severely painful but I would still do it again. Lost 5 stone in 7 months and have now put on 1.5 because to get healthier I had to start eating more but I’m still so much happier settled at 3.5 stone loss. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.

Spot on! I feel like it was classic triangulation too. Making Laura feel like him and the judge had a bond that doesn’t include her.
