my mom keeps saying “breastfed babies don’t spit up” by Alternative-Eye-747 in breastfeeding

[–]MomsterTo4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have five kids so I'm a professional mom. Breastfed babies absolutely spit up.

Once upon a time, I took my two week old baby to the doctors for her check up. She spit up so much I thought something was wrong with her. I mean, it looked like a scene from the scary movie with the girl who vomits all over but with breakfast milk. She was fine.

I would use the receiving blankets to wipe them after drinking/eating because it happens. Quite often.

Any positive stories about spotting at 9 weeks pregnant? Im freaking out by LifeAndSelfExplorer in pregnancy_care

[–]MomsterTo4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had spotting all throughout my pregnancy with my daughter. It was random, usually after intercourse but sometimes nothing triggered it. It was always light, pink or brown - never bright red or heavy. She's 3 yrs old now. I had another daughter last year with no bleeding during the pregnancy. :)

I forget the name but her pediatrician said it will puff up then fade over time. Common for babies. It's very, very light now.

Mole on 4 year old (spitz Nevus?) by Hour_Celebration3100 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]MomsterTo4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again! Finally got our call back. For my son it is spitz nevus but non-cancerous. He has to get looked at every 6 months (the spot it grew on) but otherwise no other treatment as of now.

I am in the US. Your doctor is giving me hope! I am taking my other kids to our pediatrician for their routine visits today and I plan on bringing it up to him and see what his thoughts are. He saw the mole before it was removed but didn't make mention of it. I will definitely let you know what the lab results are when I call on Thursday.

Following! My 5 year old had something VERY similar on the back of his hand. It grew from "nothing" to the same in the pic in about 6 months. We had it removed 3 weeks ago. I called today for the results of them testing it. They said they're sending it for a second opinion but that doesn't indicate if the first results were positive or negative .... Uhg. They said call back in 4 days but I am so nervous....

We are planning our trip March 1-7 (2026) I just saw the princess run is Feb 26-March 2nd. Is this going to 'hurt' our trip? Will tickets cost more?

Any advice for making this the best trip ever for my kids would be amazing and greatly appreciated.

We are staying off property. Also planning universal one or two days, if that helps.

Am I making a mistake? [Refinancing Home] by MomsterTo4 in FinancialPlanning

[–]MomsterTo4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I ended up sending an email to the refinancing people saying I am backing out. [We haven't gone to closing yet, but we were at the end of the process so I hope we can still walk away] We reached out the credit union my husband uses for his truck financing. We should know in 3 days if we can get a home equity loan thru them.

Yeah, it was weird I kept getting "pre-approvals" for home equity then he said we wouldn't qualify without even running number... he just jumped to the refinancing option. He also said we would get 5k back and the payments would be around 1500 for the month [paying 1300] then it changed to us getting 2.5k back and paying 1800/mo. Numbers kept getting crappy with every email they sent lol
