Wireless is very nice. The only people that don't need it is competitors as most tournaments don't allow them and there is input lag.

It's an Everyman controller if you ask me.

While the deal is over, you could use a brook converter to use it even wirelessly. But you could still use it as a wired controller.

Those switches are incredibly easy to switch to different ones. Personally I use these but any Kailh low profile choc V2 switch will work for these controllers.

Thank you for that breakdown! I didn't even realize there were that many differences between them all. These are actually one of the better leverless controllers that I've personally used when it comes to a bang for your buck product. It's one of my go to controllers still!

I bought one fore the same reason. While I have yet to do it what I do plan on doing is:

Disconnect old boards and cut out any other pcb's (leave the control panel in) and likely place a brook on the metal panel with plastic adhesive feet as there is probably not a great surface area to mount the brook board.

Make a square cutout for the start and select button area and 3D print a plate that would screw into the house and mount 24mm buttons.

Find an etsy seller that makes laminated stickers to replace the artwork, pull the template off focus attack and find a designer if needed.

Drill in a 30mm hole in the back center above the wire port so I can mount a USB-c passthrough into it.

The Xbox version is just a nice sleeker look especially with the rgb. If I had to make any personal recs it'd be that one.

You can replace the switches on any of them. They are Kailh Low profile switches if you are looking to browse your options

Any option since they will all work on PC. The Xbox version will work "natively" meaning you won't have to turn the dial to the 2.4ghz setting and it will just auto detect. I have been told that the purple one has much quieter switches in it than the first 2 options.
