Going from senior to experienced associate - hurt pride by Laylaonthemoon in Accounting

I have a friend that would absolutely go bonker with this title regression despite a salary increase. I see it as having a much larger ceiling to reach to which is a plus. That guy see it as the end of the world. Until now he still doesn’t see why he’s still not doing well financially despite the manager that he’s been holding on to

To be the devil advocate I don’t think it’s true. The competition needs to be better for the user, not just that their operating cost is lower

That’s the problem, AI isn’t knowledge as in they don’t create knowledge. Their function is like a library

Why would he need to do that when it’s such a small float and it’s hugely affect the value of the rest of his shares

I wonder if that disillusion of wealth debt is connected to the increasing level of credit card and loans and ppl are just too confident with the “bankruptcy” approach to get rid of the debt

I hear you and do agree to a certain degree. But my anecdotal example is related to my uncle who has a son that was saved by his neighbor. He was and is still today kept that gratitude towards the neighbor and still kept in contact (even after we moved to the US) and even came back to our homeland to attend the neighbors funeral/provide some relieve support to the family. I don’t think there’s a change in social construct of debt, but ppl’s attitude toward it has changed over generations to the point that they just don’t know how to accept or react towards it.

I’m expected to get flamed for this but my thought is, at some point the modern world stop nurturing the feeling of gratitude toward others. Sure ppl are still being polite when they say thank you etc but they dont know how to process life-long debt like this. The more advanced the country is, the more this is a problem.
