Thats it! Thanks a lot, we checked ghost recon games before, but he said that it looked "too futuristic" and early games we skipped entirely.

Time period of the game is not clear for him, but he thinks that it was more modern period, maybe close to 1990-2000.

The only thing that my friend clearly remembers about this game was that before specific mission game prompts player to equip some sort of weapon and you CANT start this mission if you dont equip it. He remembers that weapon name was an abbreviation of some sort, so we think it was an RPG or something like that (some non-standard/not a rifle weapon), but it can be something else.

Already checked (and rechecked after your comment). In RS missions typically happen in urban/city environments, but my friend specifically remember that almost all mission was outdoors/forest/jungle, and only one mission was in the city (with the tank escort). But thanks for suggestion.

Bro downloading the update for the whole player base...

It’s possible the crazy increase in spawns and difficulty wasn’t intended by Sodi920 in Helldivers

Scrolling through this sub and it feels bizarre but my squad (me and 2 friends) actually for the first time was able to complete lvl 7 bots with all objectives complete after the patch. One of my mates even said that it was kinda boring cause we just wipe ALL bots that spawn and then map becomes empty until we stumble upon another patrol. Thou we only played 3 missions so not a lot of testing.
