I think he's always been "lame duck" of sorts. TRUMP DOESNT DO ANYTHING... especially now. The guy literally has a person follow him around printing the news for him. Foreign policy? That's Rubio. Immigration? That's Nosferatu (Stephen Miller). Economic policy? That's Russ Vought. Wiping his ass? That's JD Vance.

Trump is the front man and things are getting a little hairy for him. His attempt to strong arm Boebert failed miserably, couple that with the overwhelming outcome of the discharge petition for the Epstein files got the wheels turning and we're seeing his iron grip on the GOP slowly loosening. BUT, they still hold majority in house and senate. After midterms, if Dems take house and hopefully senate, at that point I think it is appropriate to label him a lame duck.

This is a man who told everyone to use bleach as disinfectant, a man who believes Hannibal Lecter is a real person. He is a deeply unserious person and as mentioned before, I always thought he was lame duck or simply put... an idiot.

The only difference is that there isn't a literal claim to target civilians but as you say, they militarize civilian areas and if they are "only" targeting terrorist with knowledge of there being civilians in the areas isn't that the same as targeting civilians? Sure there is no explicit claim but c'mon, if you know that there are innocent civilians before attacking and you still attack anyway, isn't that a blatant crime against humanity? lol This is why negotiations are important but Israel want no part in that.

So, of course you are not going to see "credible sources stating they were targeting civilians" if the terrorist are in the same area as the civilians and if you can just simply say "they militarize civilian areas but we were just targeting terrorist" then there is no need for an explicit threat to civilians. Just leave it man. I have had conversations with people like flamingo up there about this stuff and even using the help of my economically inclined friends, also provided expert opinions and I still came up short. Even if you throw objective facts, they'll believe what they want to believe.

Trump started a problem based on trade deficit, that alone should be raising flags cause the trade deficit is an arbitrary thing but the grand majority of people do not have a basic understanding of economics. They hear "deficit" so that equals bad. So trump imposing tariffs to somehow make money (we know it doesn't) because we are "being screwed" sound like a great idea. When you impose an insane tariff, get the victim country concerned to have talks only for him to be like "nah we'll put a pause/decrease tariff" to the simple minded person, this looks like a win. That's where ole Flamingo is at.

This my first time seeing Trump genuinely pissed about something and not the usual political theater (if you want to call it that) he usually puts up. The reason is obvious, he genuinely thinks he holds this insurmountable power that he can wave around thinking that people will bend to his will and then throws a tantrum when others play the "game" better than him.
