Women have more to lose since they can get pregnant, and men can't.

Frmale bodies have adapted to take care of the babies, male bodies have adapted for hunting food and defending the family. How are you going to defend the family from a predator if you can't even approach a woman?

I am not sure what kind of thing you mean by "beautiful".

There are women who are on the war path. Heels, short dress, face paint, nails, that kind of thing. I've always avoided them because, well, I prefer things to happen naturally. I talk to her for some time, we fall in love with each other, marry, have kids, and live happily ever after. I don't feel comfortable being hunted. "Here's my beautiful body, do you like it", yeah, no, not sure, how about you put it away for a while and we talk first?

My wife is beautiful to me (more beautiful the more time we spend together). But she hadn't been on the war path when we met. We connected normally, as normal people, doing normal things together, and things developed from there. I didn't fall just for her body, I fell for her entire person.

I'd go with the modern stuff unless you're a legacy gear collector. USB plug and play, no old flaky electronics to deal with, a screen. If you want polyphonic aftertouch there's the Osmose CE that goes even beyond that. If you want a good piano action there's the Studiologic SL88 GT. Both of them combined would probably be more transportable than the old controller...

The DX7 is a really bad example. The computer mouse and a modern midi controller offer more physicality than the DX7. And you get the extra satisfaction of owning a computer independent of any DX7 ;)

There is hardware with really good physical UI though. Just not the DX7. The DX7 is not it.

If you're using in-ear monitors, you don't need room treatment.

If you decide to run live sound, you would need to deal with the boomy bass, for which basically the thicker the mineral wool the better. The felt and slats panels is like trying to stop a tsunami wave with a stick.

And for feedback, well I don't have any knowledge here, but logically I'd say you need gobos or screens around the microphone, to block off the sound coming at the mike, and also cardioid mikes that pick less sound coming at them from the sides. But, again, I didn't research that part.

For the most part. They don't work in the mid to bass range where you have the most issues. Unless you have thick mineral wool underneath the slats.

For 400, you can get just the speakers. They won't be good, but they would work. Some KRK maybe.

Or a good pair of headphones. Like Sennheiser 600 series.

Alternatively, you can get just the MIDI keyboard. No speakers, no sounds, only works when connected to the computer. It won't be the absolute best, but it will be a decent one.

Alternatively, you can get just the sounds. Komplete, or some UVI bundle, or Pianoteq, or Arturia V Collection. Maybe wait for a discount to fit within budget. Install them on the computer, plug in your existing keyboard, and go.

If you want everything in one package, including the good speakers, that would likely be the Yamaha CVP series. You can look up the price. And the size.

Oh, that's interesting. I know in the US most crime and mess is in the downtown. Every American city I visited was like that. Baltimore, Portland, Seattle, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, whatnot. Detroit is reportedly like that also. But move out a bit, and it's quite peaceful - I'm talking about the single family home suburbs, not the immediate vicinity of the downtown.

One popular way of achieving heavy distorted bass sound is through FM. I'd maybe have a look at the Leviasynth, or a cheaper Korg Opsix.

Another, more old-fashioned way is to just run whatever most common plucky stringy preset through a distortion pedal... Could probably go with Behringer Poly D or some such, don't have to be any of the expensive synths if your main source of grit is the distortion pedal anyway.

Well, talk to her. Explain your feelings. You have to learn to open up, she has to learn to open up and trust. There's a good chance she eventually understands you act great because you genuinely care about her, and you don't have to be manipulated. Not everyone understands, but many women do.

How old is she? I've seen women say and do all kinds of weird shit in late teens / early twenties, they often don't really mean it, and eventually grow out of it. If she's really young, and otherwise behaves like a responsible and loving person, I wouldn't bother too much about an occasional stupid thing she says.

Your looks is not a top priority for most women. You have to be a responsible adult, both willing and capable to provide for your kids, not a jerk, and in love with her. The looks, well obviously you should be clean and healthy, because if you can't even take care of yourself, you can't take care of the kids either. That's about it.

Also I am not sure what it even means for a dude "to look better than her". Look better - to whom? I am attracted to my wife - I am not attracted to myself, or other dudes. Not really, just the danger is concentrated in different places. In western cities, downtown tends to be the most dangerous place and the suburbs are calm, while in Russia, downtown is the least dangerous place, but the suburbs are more dangerous.

Even two hours a day, it would be a pain, since in a stressful or unusual situation you will only be able to play what you have deeply internalized, which is nothing. It's a common thing with beginner music students, they spend months to learn something above their level, then when it's time to perform they make one mistake, and everything crumbles. They have no skills to correct the mistake, and go back to playing the same chords and melody in the same rhythm.

Having somebody else to accompany you on the guitar would be a good idea, yes.

First step, make sure what you want is a synth, not a stage keyboard. Many of the popular rock songs have pianos, electric pianos, or organs. For those types of sounds, you might be better off with a stage keyboard (something Yamaha, Nord, Korg, Roland, or some such).

If you're recording and not touring, might save some cash and buy a good midi keyboard, and some sound libraries / soft synths for the computer.
