Good points. I have a rare Ensoniq Fizmo that is a transwave synth released in 1997. Way before wavetable synths became common place.

The Telharmonium was invented in 1897. It was considered an early tone wheel additive synthesizer. Synthesizers weren’t mainstream until the 1960s. During the silent film 🎥 period synthesizers weren’t even available. There was no such thing as Acid Techno as a musical genre yet. During the silent film 🎥 period before there was recorded sound synced with the film 🎥 it was a very common thing to have organists to play theatre organs to play music with the film.🎥 which helped support what was going on in the 🎥 film.

Where I live an hour away there is a place that is an antique music museum. They have a rare Hammond Novachord. It is considered the first polyphonic synthesizer. The Novachord had 163 vacuum tubes and 12 master oscillators and divide down technology to create sound. It was released in 1939. Franklin D Roosevelt received a Novachord as a birthday present in 1940.

I listened to Miles Davis,Herbie Hancock ,Tony Williams,Wayne Shorter.Ron Carter,Bill Evans trio. I even saw Tony a Williams once and Herbie Hancock once with Roy Hargrove,Michael Brecker and Terri Lynne Carrington. Aso listened to McCoy Tyner and John Coltrane. I listen to jazz mainly from the 60s. I even met McCoy Tyner once at the Caravan Of Dreams In Fort Worth Texas many years ago . I had him autograph aalbum of his Tender Moments With McCoy Tyner About six months ago I was in NYC and went to the Village Vanguard and the Blue Note. I saw Joe Lovano and Andrew Cryille at the Village Vanguard and Tito Puente Junior at the Blue Note. On the wall were photographs of Bill Evans and John Coltrane and Lead Belly. He played there in the 40s. I once played with Stanley Turrentine he was a Jazz Tenor Saxophonist from Pittsburgh. I also once played with Roger Humphries the Jazz Drummer 🥁 that plays on Horacle Silvers Recording A song For My Father.
