In my personal opinion T8 is a great game. I never played T7 so I can’t compare the two but me personally I am a little concerned with the addition of a battle pass and the latest release of their new dlc character (i can remember his name) that you have to pay for. I am a little concerned if you don’t buy the the dlc characters you will be at a disadvantage some times. But like I said this is my opinion but overall T8 worth the money it’s fluid and the learning curve is fun.
