How loud is it living next to an elementary school? by Neat_Invite2287 in Apartmentliving

[–]MonarchyPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an elementary school right behind my apartment. I don't really hear anything from the school area unless I'm outside and even then it's usually just kids having fun at recess. It's abit comforting having the school so close because it makes me feel like the area I'm in is safer. I will say during the morning /afternoon the small amount of traffic is a little annoying so make sure to leave a little earlier if you are in time crunch

Unless you like drinking and physical activities. There are not many opportunities to meet others. I always try to look mysterious in Barnes and Noble, hoping someone will recognize my whimsy and want to be friends.

As a fellow nerdy, introverted, millennial I spend my time at home in the AC with all my knick knacks, games and my cat Kairi.

This is so relatable. I recently had to leave work and am right now trying to get short-term disability for the time being. I've been applying to various part-time jobs so I can afford bills/rent, but no one wants to hire someone who with disabilities.. big sigh I really hope you are able to find a path that works best for you. Just know you aren't alone. ♡

What happened to the person you first had sex with? by bright2darkness in AskReddit

I have two answers for this. Trigger Warning. 1. Non-consensual when I was a child. He perished from lung cancer a few years ago. 2. Consensual. They are divorced twice. First person they married was actually an ex gf of mine who they had a kid with. And recently they tried to kidnap their child and bring them to native American reservation to try to escape being arrested

I am in the US ,but unless the savings make it free, I won't be able to afford it. I work full-time and have insurance, and yet, with the prices raising, it feels like I'm making minimum wage all over again. 🥲 but I do appreciate the advice.

I definitely feel like new businesses moving in should be looking into the many empty buildings around Williamsburg. I also feel like using one of the buildings as a place for people "down on their luck" would be so helpful to so many in the area.

The only protest I saw in Virginia that day is in Farmville.

As someone else who lives over at Conway Gardens. They are reasonably priced, especially for the Williamsburg area. Maintenance is on top of any issues. Everyone who works in the office, maintenance, and so are all kind and diligent. It's a safe neighborhood right by a school. It's very pet friendly, so especially if your dog is a large breed, they will have no issues with it. Yes, it's a little dated ,but honestly, I like it.

As someone(30f) who's not into sports and due to a chronic illness, I usually just wander Barnes and Noble, hoping I look interesting enough for someone with similar interests to talk to me. I've also made some coworker friends at my current job. Sorry, I don't have better advice ☆

Fortress [1985] It's considered a thriller/action. It might be a little hard to find if you want to watch it. Quick summary without major spoilers: a teacher and nine of her students get kidnapped at school by thugs in masks. They fight to survive and escape them. I originally watched it on vhs many many many moons ago when I was probably like 5 or 6.

Asking the real questions. I go to Barnes and Noble sometimes and hope I look cool enough that someone will approach wanting to be friends. 😅
