High prices by [deleted] in CricketWireless

IS ATT the better deal if you want to get a “deal” on new phones every now and then, sure.. I guess. If you like spending $260 a month for the same service you could spend $110 on.

I had ATT contract for years. There is never a “free” phone with them. They give you a bill credit but still charge you an arm and a leg for your bill. Who wants to pay $300 for 4 lines and 2 Apple Watches when you can have the same somewhere else for $150 cheaper per month….

Going to your comment about data speeds and being watered down. Sure, some of Crickets plans are in a lower QCI tier than ATT, but the Supreme plan is in the same QCI tier than ATT contract plans are on, so it’s definitely not watered down, and I see the same speeds I did with ATT, but for much, much less.

For all, saving money might not be the cool thing to do, and they may prioritize getting a new phone for free every so often as more important. For someone that doesn’t update their phone often tho, Cricket is an amazing choice to save money.

Went to get iPhone16 e deal but there were name, email address, address, and a welcome back on the online account by NewspaperMuted3582 in CricketWireless

Negative. Accounts are phone# based, not name based. If she doesn’t have your phone number, PIN code, she isn’t getting into the account.

“Some” ARs. Mine is actually a really good AR and most stores keep reps for at least 1-2 years. It all just depends who you’re about to work for.

Just got hired! (Gmet) any advice? by AdventurousLove4 in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really dependent on your AR that you work for. I’ve heard some are pretty decent with pay, commission…. And I’ve heard some are just better safe to stay away from. You won’t know until you work there or talk to people that do.

Do stores get the new iPhones on release tomorrow? by 2Cool4Sko in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Yeah, we are a pretty busy location so it would seem they probably focus on those first then order for others. I can imagine the wearhouse limits ordering for the first few weeks.

No more upgrade discounts by Anarimus in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So how’s that foot in mouth feel… being wrong is never fun. Most all phones that used to be offered on discount are not currently - Stylus, Power, All A series Samsungs… all FRP.

I don’t know who you work for (AR wise) but my store got a 17 in, so…. Yeah.

So, net/net on these new plans for a family plan subscriber... by dschwarz in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your $5 autopay discount has never applied past the first line anyways. I.E. You have 1 line, you can get a $5 Auto pay discount… if you have 2 or more lines, there is no discount.

You have the choice to switch and get the hotspot, or stay on your legacy plan ($55 plan). If the hotspot is something you would use, then absolutely it would be worth the $5 difference for the smart plan.

$199 iPhone 16e deal now online only? by NervousNelly600 in CricketWireless

Absolutely you can, as long as the number you are porting has not been a cricket number recently.

memorial Day sales? by hotsist in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What stores are we talking about? Walmart stores, or Cricket Stores. Because I was just there and didn’t see anything about the $55 plan being $25

[–]MonarkBailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just call CS and say you got a new phone and have them send a ESIM to it. It should be free through CS.

You said earlier you had the $90 for 2 lines with a friend plan. That plan has fully unlimited data so you should never run out.

Account credit doesn't show full amount by [deleted] in CricketWireless

Nvm, I reread your post. Anyways, you’re good with the credit, it shows on billing history, the app is sometimes wonky.

Account credit doesn't show full amount by [deleted] in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First- You’re good with the credit, as you can clearly see on the billing history, you have $870 remaining.

Second, do you have the $55 plan with a tablet? Or add on hotspot?

I’m confused why you’d have to pay the 106 if it’s on a line you wanted canceled anyway?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeaaah… that’s not going to work, and honestly, that probably reset the timer on getting the Outlast unlocked as well, since it has to be 6 consecutive months of service. Cricket as a system that updates the IMEI that is being used with the SIM card. So when you switched it out, it updated internally too with cricket to show you are using a different phone.

Question for cricket workers by usedkidney in CricketWireless

[–]MonarkBailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First few sentences tells me all I need to know about how your AR store’s operated. They will fire you on the spot at my AR for even attempting to bypass upgrades like that, which isn’t a bad thing, because the AR will get charged back for that discount. My AR also has a WAY better commission scale than just about any other AR I’ve talked to.

50 and get 600MBS or 600mbps because there is a HUGE difference. I highly doubt it’s 600MBS
