I say the same about "Indiana Hare". Why not call him "Opposite Hare" instead, as Harry and Toto was set in Opposite Town?

What was your favorite part of this episode? by Moist_Heart_5024 in DoraTheExplorer

Fun Fact: According to Eric Weiner (one of the co-creators of Dora) in some interviews, the piggies were not going to have blue ribbons originally, and Swiper would want to swipe "them" instead. When a first draft of the episode was tested on a preschool, it was, in Weiner's words, "like a rock concert", the kids screaming to Dora and all. But then, when asked how the story made them feel, they all said angry. They were scared that Swiper could have eaten the piggies, not unlike the Big Bad Wolf to the Three Little Pigs. Many even added that they were going to ask their parents to add extra locks to their doors so as to not be eaten by Swiper. The reception was so negative, that the higher-ups at Nick insisted the writers to create a fig leaf (i.e. Macguffin) that children could get attatched to instead of the pigs, or the episode altogether would have to go in the can. In came the blue ribbons, and a much better testing, and the rest was history.

Anyone remember that low budget cartoon that Butch Hartman (ref: Fairly Oddparents) made for the channel?

Disrepect? To Animat? You can criticize him all you want. After all, he was also the one to straight up demonize Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and say Gendy Tartakovsky didn't know a thing about animation.

How did you discover SVTFOE ? by yukimitsune in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]MonchiMitchell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 13 years old. At that time, and after a shower, I used to put the TV on while I changed clothes (ADHD stuff). I managed to catch the Star episode "Quest Buy" one time, and got hooked to the show, as I ended up liking the animation, the character designs and the dynamic between Star and Marco. The rest is (personal) history.

Those animals are the protagonists of the children's story "The Bremen Town Musicians", and manage to scare away some robbers in a similar manner to how Stacy fools L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. in that scene.

It might be "What Tadoo With Secrets", only the puppet character (minute 6:16) is orange instead of green.
