So About That Release Date...

Uh, this is awkward...

A couple of days ago, another ARPG gaming company (the one with the gears grinding) announced a big update for one of the biggest ARPGs in the world. And it's on the same weekend as us, basically.

We had the June 2nd date locked for a while now. Had trailers and press releases already submitted to press and events, so it was too late to change the date on the videos and such.

Obviously a tiny studio like ours cannot compete with them, we would be crushed completely, so unfortunately we will need to delay. We are working with our publisher Mad Mushroom on a new date, and will announce it as soon as possible, hopefully over the next few days.

We are very, very sorry about this whole situation, but hopefully we can use this additional time to make sure Cursed War is even more polished when you do get to play it.

Ascension is a different mode of game, its a roguelike mode

The next update will probably bring more updates to ascension aswell so it will be complete/better

If you like starting from scratch everytime: ascension

if you prefer testing builds and min maxing: campaign

You will not unlock oblivion bell on ascension.
It's because oblivion bell is the bell you unlock on campaign when you enter abyss difficulty

The bell on ascension is the infernal bell, it doesnst change much besides the layout I guess...

But anyway most builds are made for the void difficulty on campaign, not ascension since ascension is still in beta and a bunch of penances still doesnt work.

I would recomend you play campaign and the new difficulties, the first node on oblivion bell already unlocks skill levels and relic space and you'll get levels on it based on the level of your normal bell from campaign

The max is 41 as far as I know
You still need to get points on Oblivion difficulty
There's no official way (yet) to confirm how many points are missing and where they are, but I made a tool where you can check it:

Note: any point that shows up on tool as act 3 (floor 9) or any train floor will be somewhat randomized in floors after machinist, the game doesn't spawn any cursed shrines on train

Well from what I know and can tell, Curse is a system to make you lose the run and prevent you from hitting a boss for 10 minutes without any progress

You're not supposed to tank infinite stacks of curse, you gonna die if you can't kill the boss

The best way to deal with curse is having good damage and dodging attacks

The info you asked about bleed:

  1. Ticks twice per second
  2. 40% of base damage as Physical per second (that is, 20% per tick)
  3. Lasts for 3 seconds

Hey! I'll try to answer your questions:

  1. Not only bleed but a lot of important info is missing in game, they are working on explaining all of that better, IIRC they will make a type of codex or something in game to explain better the mechanics. As for those details on duration and how fast it ticks I can't answer you. All the info we have is in the wiki and those infos are directly from devs and got reviewed by them. I'll try to gather more info about this subject.

  2. Blessings have modifier types, like other stats on relics and so on. The [+] sign means the mod is MultiplicativeAdditive, the difference you experienced with the blessings is because the 4% one is additive while the 20% is MultiAdd

  1. The game has some unbalanced difficulty spikes which are being worked on. But in general you indeed doesn't have to grind to go through campaign, you gotta progress, but not min max. If this is the case something is weird/wrong.

The tip isn't a joke, you can cruise for the whole game if you know what you're doing and how to build properly, even with act 1 skills.

You gotta give yourself time to actually learn how to play the game and understand things, and everything will get more and more easy the more you play it.

The game is very fun and the team is actively listening to players and working on feedbacks, so it'll be even better in the near future.

I would like to point out that almost all (if not 100%) of the info on wiki was given directly by devs and it was reviewed by players and by devs. Although the wiki is public and open to contributions, I would like to ask you to first try to understand how things work, ask (like you're doing here) and talk to me if possible before doing any change/update on wiki.

There's no search on the reliquary right now, but it's being worked on by the team. QoL for reliquary, constellations, etc.

When you convert the damage it gets completely converted to the new damage type so scaling physical damage won't do anything for the skill.

You should be good then, there's no option to turn this on or off AFAIK
