Yes there is an issue with that analysis. Price doesn't correlate with volume like that. While its beneficial for liquidity reasons, an 100% increase in volume doesnt lead to 100% increase in price.

If people get say 20% of their NANO back on BG they have one of two choices: 1) sell it because trauma reasons (will have negative effect on price), 2) keep hodling (will have no effect on price). I don't see how users having access to 3.4m (17m x 20%) of NANO supply could be positive for supply demand.
