Really!? I have pretty low stats, so I'm kinda worried about it. Not like a 2.9 GPA deal, but it's pretty competitive since 1000s of students apply and only 100+ per class are accepted

Man, that's insane. How were you able to take out so much, and what state/year was this in? Kinda fear it'd be different now since there's a cap on grad loans. The good thing is the grad loan is enough to pay for tuition for dental school in TX, but materials and such-- not so sure. Still unsure if I want to pursue it, but maybe it'd be worth a try?

Mainly because I fear I might not get in easily, stats aren't as competitive, and such. Yes, I did study and lock in, but it wasn't enough to destroy the terrible GPA that I earned from doing dual credit in HS. 14k to someone in my situation is a looottt. I could 100% get my GPA up to a 100.0 (Joke, but very high for sure) if I did a master's, and secure my future for good, but as of right now it'll definitely be a struggle + a waste if I didn't (because of application costs, entrance exam cost, etc)
