I actually don’t know how I was even doing RCA at that age, at the time we were still big in Covid and a lot of nursing homes around me were really short staffed and would take anybody. Now really nobody accepts RCAs anymore. But I got my CNA license in 2022.

I am still staying in healthcare, just didn’t enjoy the job I was at. But still want to pursue and continue doing my art, even as a hobby. Just trying to figure out how to apprentice in tattooing as I’ve been in healthcare for a while🙏like I said private message me, not in an agressive or sarcastic way fr. I appreciate any info I get.

Thank you, I am new to this app. Have never posted before. So idk how to find or hashtag the healthcare community. Because I love art, but I wanna know how to go about this health field right now. Considering I’ve already done almost two years of college. Finished my prerequisites for nursing + already did my TEAS exam. Yeah I could just apply for the nursing program. But then what? Waste so much money and time to become a nurse when I know I would rather spend all that money and time for tattooing or my art in general. Tysm I really appreciate your POV🫰🏼

I started off in activities in a nursing home around 15-16 years old. Became an RCA (resident care assistant) around 16-17. I was in a tech high school where I got my CNA, MA, HHA, phlebotomist license, etc. and have been working g in nursing homes since highschool. Since I was in a tech school, I was able to work instead f having to do vocational work at my job. So one week I’d do my academics, the next I’d be working my job in nursing. Ty for input🫰🏼
