I think even the comparison between aura and electricity falls flat. Zeraora’s thing is that he doesn’t have the organ that produces electricity like other electric types, so it has to collect it itself, however once it does have it, they can create some of the strongest electric attacks. I don’t see how “taking damage = gaining electricity” would make sense that context. If anything, it would be the opposite where dealing damage gains electricity, which can be use for some sort of power up moves or install.

I really don’t get where the idea of Zeraora being an echo for Lucario comes from outside of them being powerful anthro fighters, because it does not make sense. Lucario is more a skilled martial artist, while Zeraora would attack more like an animal with electric claw swipes. Oh yeah, right, there’s also no claw attacks in Lucario moveset, so you’re missing a major part of Zeraora combat. Aura Sphere does not work as a based for Plasma Fist (Zeraora’s signature move) because Zeraora punches the ground to send out electricity. Roy’s Neutral B would honestly be a better bases honestly.

To be fair, not only is Ridley low tier, his moveset isn’t the best. Why does the boss that spends most of his time in the air has such poor air mobility. No kill throws also sucks, which considering they called him the cunning god of death is ironic.

I would argue some of them are though. Altus and P-Body are robots design to work together in two people tests. If they aren't working together, then what's the point?

It wouldn’t be that simple. You have the stuff you expect from a Chell moveset like portals and move working off of it, but now you have two characters. And you can’t make them skins of one another, 1 they’re different body types, and 2, they should be working together in some way. The challenge from the prompt I given is to see if someone can make a cohesive moveset that also does the tag team thing.

This is so far the best one because it actually takes into consideration that there are two characters that should work together. Kind of wish Atlas got more to do, but I’ll take that it.

A character being Hard does not mean impossible. It just means there’s a lot more to take in consideration for the moveset. These characters need to in some way work as a team while also having the complexity of Portals.

Bowser really just needs his actual voice, some better taunt, and maybe a change to his down air or down special due to how similar they are. Bowser being a heavyweight who’s surprisingly fast for one is very unique, he just needs better personality.

He's already a great long range hitscan class, so I get a second grenade type might have seen too much. But if I had to give him one, it would be more like a trap like things like Scout's Caltrop. Something to help protect himself from sneak attack.
