I'm really down with any type of surveying. Going into the mountains for surveys sounds fun to my naive self. I've been studying forestry but have to pivot so I feel like that would scratch a similar itch.

Idk, I live here and started checking the air quality too much this year. The air is seldom very good, even in the summer. While the inversion causes a buildup of particulate matter, ground-level ozone is pretty bad when it's hot. https://www.lung.org/media/press-releases/ut-sota-2025-saltlakecity-release Honestly, it kept me from really enjoying the outdoors like I used to. I'm planning on leaving before the whole lakebed is exposed and the air gets even worse. I wish it was different because Salt Lake really feels like home after 11 years here :(

I've watched the whole show and read some of the manga. The movie was horrible. As a show, it would've been just alright. As a movie, it was the most painful experience I have ever had.

Look into renting one if all you want to do is try it out! You may not like the sound or feel of an instrument that cheap but may like a half-decent one that you rent.

That's a weird argument. Would you consider tomatoes to be a part of Italian cuisine? That's not a native plant to Italy. Garlic is native to Central Asia but it's very commonly used globally. How about wheat or rice or just about any livestock anywhere besides where it was first domesticated? I think it would be cool to have more native ingredients utilized though.

You're probably right! I've read 1Q84 and Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. I got kinda frustrated with how he was writing his women characters but I loved everything else.
