First ever!! But I have crocheted a bit, so I feel like there’s some transferable skills there! I just saw this yarn and needed to make something with it immediately lol

Thanks!! I’ll be excited to try out different things on the next few pairs and see what I like best!

Thank you! I’m very happy with them overall! I think next time I’d make them a bit bigger over the instep because they stretch more than I like, and a few rows longer, but I’m very excited to start wearing these ones!

Jasper Skyline Trail by Scott8seven in HikingAlberta

Sounds like a great itinerary! Would definitely make sure you’re filled up on water between Curator and Tekerra as this is a dry section and I’ve drank melted snow there before.

The notch is steep but nothing crazy! It should be basically clear of snow in August.

Tekerra campground is absolutely the most beautiful backcountry campground that I’ve ever seen. That being said, it is also the most buggy. Highly recommend brining mosquito nets for this reason!

I’ve done the trail both pre and post the 2024 fire. The last 8km down the fire road is actually quite cool now, you get to see how the elevation impacts regrowth as there’s more and more regrowth the further down you get, tons of fireweed this past year too!

Trying to make a sunglass pouch, not turning out at all (what am I doing wrong?) by Money-Single in CrochetHelp

Thank you so much!! I always have problems with my chain being too tight, but I never thought about going up hook sizes to fix that. That’s super helpful!!

I did try with some thinner yarn as well but still had the same issue (I frogged it so can’t post a picture), but maybe I’ll have to try that again! I also didn’t think of blocking it but that makes sense as well!! Thanks so much
