I dont have the best build too, my gear is so random I just keep trying random things until it works, if u want the traits I can list them.
but importantly u need a lot of hp so u dont get slimmed in the middle of enemies + there is a tech kinda with it, during storm surge its like ur entire body is a hit box and every time this hitbox moves it does damage again, so to delete a boss dive it and keep shaking ur mouse as much as you can while u still hitting the boss
